Certainly possible.

Tyler Patmon got me excited as a rookie, but he failed to take the next step last season and eventually got kicked to the curb.

Dallas may have seen enough and/or like the young corners on the roster now better.

Commanders trying to slip DE Willie Jefferson through waivers. I'm on this one....

I like scouring teams that have depth at positions we could use, or teams that run a 3-4 and cut DL/LB, sometimes guys just don't fit their scheme but they could be potential depth or more there. Same thing with safeties/db's that run different schemes.

Willie Jefferson is interesting, went to school at SFA which is cool. He's a big dude, little light in the shorts, but quick, and could probably beat out Russell.

Steelers are stacked at WR, Issac Blakeney looks like he didn't make the team but he's a 6'6 guy. Not sure how many opportunities he got but i'm not really assuming Street/Jones are straight up beating anyone out.

I was on the Patmon bandwagon but we like our CB's bigger. Brown's like 5'11 and Deji is 6 foot or something.

Major Wright safety would be interesting to pick up

Funny enough, Rod was on that Chicago team when they drafted him. He played on the Bears then went to TB with Lovie.

He got beat out by a rookie in TB and wasn't worth his contract, i wouldn't be surprised if they tried to sign him back if he clears waivers.

If we were looking at someone to just upgrade from Wilcox, he's a pretty strong candidate

I don't really know anything about Jefferson except that he's been with three teams since 2013 and recorded only two tackles in six games - all in 2013. Makes me skeptical he could beat out Russell or any of the DEs who could make the Cowboys 53.

Indianapolis Colts: Waived WR Justin Berger, S Alden Darby, G Eric Herman, DT Ricky Lumpkin, TE Mike Miller, RB Chase Price, CB Winston Rose, DE Delvon Simmons, WR Josh Stangby and LB Junior Sylvestre.

Sign LB/SS Junior Sylvestre right now. I thought Colts were going to IR him due to ankle injury but this kid has just lit it up all preseason. Crazy athlete that just loves to hit, 3 straight seasons of 100+ tackles and sub 4.5 speed. Little small 6-0 230 but extremely physical and excellent blitzer.

I am looking forward to Dolphins cuts....they have some decent pass rushers....I think Fede, Jones and McCain are on the bubble for them...but they won't come until the next round of cuts.

Rams have Coples, Longacre and Seau, the one that was killing Chaz in week one as 3rd string or worse.

Coples plays much better in 4-3 and was getting tons on pressure when slid inside to DT. We are deep at DT so maybe Crawford could go outside or let Coples work at DE......im a big UNC fan. Wanted Coples and Quinn when they were in the draft

OLB Paul Kruger and QB Austin Davis are among the Browns cuts.

Davis is certainly intriguing. If he's more polished than Showers (and he probably is) then we should do it. Then when Romo comes back it would be Tony, Dak and AD. Showers shows promise but as I just stated, I doubt he's better than Davis. Remember, Davis is just 27 years old too.

I'd really take a good look at Paul Kruger. His best years was at WLB (2014: 36 tackles 11.5 sacks) so I think he'd be very good depth WLB and a upgrade over Andrew Gachkar. Only drawback is Gachkar is a valuable special teams player and I don't think Kruger will contribute much there.
