You do realize that other than you, every other person making a prediction so far is a Spurs fan? :laugh2:

I'm saying here and out of here as well, everyone is guaranteeing a Spurs win. As long as they don't pull any cheap shots, I think the Suns have a really good chance at it this year if they are consistent.

Cheap shots? oh yeah, I forgot you are a fan of the Kleenex Suns....you guys cry about everything.

I picked the Spurs in 6.....but if they somehow find consistency in their offense, they could win in 5 or even 4.....the outcome of this series totally comes down to how well the Spurs play offensively.

if tony and manu play well and if barry can hit some open shots i dont think the suns stand a chance. but the big problem is that this hasnt happened for us this entire year in unison on a consistent basis. We know what we will get from tim, and we usually know what we get from manu, but tony is an enigma and barry is super rusty. hopefully they can step it up though

Your real concern should be whether or not Amare can play with discipline and with his emotions in check.

He's darn near unstoppable when he's in the game, but he's prone to careless fouls which take him out of the game, and of course emotional outbursts like the one that got him kicked out last year.

The Spurs are clearly under his skin and will probably try to use that to their advantage... they'd be foolish not to.

If D'Antoni is a decent coach, he'll have Amare ready for that and prepared to not take the bait.

actually TP was very consistent last year in the postseason....and aside from the week or so after he came back from his injury he has been superb. Manu is the one I worry about. He plays so hard that he wears down. We need to make sure he is well rested.....but at the same time, we need him in the game to keep our offense from becoming stagnant and lethargic.

Personally, I would like to go with some smaller lineups versus the Suns. Now that they have Shaq, they have better half court defense....so we should exploit that by running more.
