official playoff prediction thread

rampage is a rockets fan, i just think its stupid to say that the spurs wont win it this year because they "have never won back to backs" obviously teams at some point had never won back to backs, its not a good reason as to why. also, look back at why they have never repeated, in 2000 timmy got hurt a week before the playoffs started and was out for the year, in 04 it was .4 and in 06 it was the classic game seven with the mavs. its ok if you think that the spurs wont win it this year, obviously, thats your opinion, but i just think its silly to pull the never repeated card, its just stupid really.
 
i didnt watch any of the other games, how did the other teams play? did dallas really lose by 12 or was that a closer game than it seemed? i saw the rockets game was out of hand late in the third, and what about the cavs game?
 
well the rockets had their run with Hakeem.........and now they are done....it was a nice run...they went to the finals a few times, won back to back titles.....even made a mockery of us in the WCF.....they do own 1/3 of the Championships won by Texas teams......but now their time has passed....

they had their little winning streak.....and now they will have their usual 1st round exit. so if he is a Rockets fan, at least he has tasted past glory........unlike Mavs and Suns fans.

but I cant believe the cowardly act I saw from your players in the WCF last year against us....and then again in the final game of the season last Wednesday. You guys tanked that game.....to get the Rockets instead of us. I cannot believe a Jerry Sloan team would go out that way....but it did....It was so obvious the Jazz were going through the motions. I lost what little respect I had for your team after that poor act on Wednesday. That being said, I did pick them to beat the Rockets, cause let's face it, TMac can't sniff the second round to save his life. But then I see the Lakers taking you guys down in the 2nd round.
 
lakers led the nuggets by 13. kobe bryant has 9 points so far in the game.

deron williams tears him up every time they play, id say he is better, both of them are great though
 
Congrats to my 76ers on a big win for the franchise. They probably won't win the series, but getting some PO experience and maybe a couple wins for a very young team is big for the future!

Factor in the cap space they have...imagine replacing Willie Green w/ Monte Ellis and Reggie Evans w/ Elton Brand ??:)

Bring in Lou Williams, Thaddeus and Carney off the bench.

I'd love to get Ellis to replace Green!!

As I'm sure you know, the problem with Brand is the torn Achilles and the fact he has a player option of 16 million. IMO Brand will take the 16 million and stay in SAC for the 2008/2009 season while his injury heals. Let's see how he recovers from the injury and maybe we go after him after next season?

What about Okafor or Josh Smith to play the 4 spot ?? Both restricted, but we have the $$$ to seal a deal. Or would you save the $$$ and make a serious run for Bosh or LeBron after 2010 ??
