Who will be here next week? Buffalo Bledsoe or Dallas Drew?

How many games has the Buffalo Bledsoe showed up?

I will give the naysayers the 2nd Giants game. Besides that, he has been solid.

Have your day Neil. Drew play very, very well today.

I just hope this coaching staff agrees, that the only chance we have to anything this season, is if they keep the reigns off.

Dallas Drew shows up next week. And the NEW Dallas offensive coaching staff shows up with him.

Drew is on a pace for 3720 yards and 25 TDs with 13 INTs - that will eclipse the best stats Troy put up in his 1992 season (3460 or so yards, 23/14). Both with 89.5 rating.

Yeah, you want to hold off on this Troy vs Drew deal.

Troy Aikman was handing the ball off to the All-Time rushing leader, which inevitably took away from his stats.

Drew is having a very good season.

But for now Aikman > Bledsoe

Given that that 1992 team was obviously a lot better than this one, I think that means Drew individually had to play better to have better numbers. Troy did have more YPA hence the same rating. As of 1992, Troy hadn't won any SB yet.

Of course, Drew has to keep up that pace for 3 more games and win the SB to draw a true comparison to 1992.

Last week he looked worse than Buffalo Bledsoe. Don't forget Bledsoe had 20 TD's last year in Buffalo with a sub par line. He looked lost last week. But the truth is he was getting hammered and that will do that to any QB but particularly Drew because he can't make plays with his legs.

This week? The line gave him a fighting chance. And he responded by making plays. His bad games this year have coincidentally been rough games for the OL. Bledsoe is what he is- really good when protected decent and with some semblance of a running game, really bad without.

So tell me how the OL does next week and I'll tell you how Bledsoe will do. It's shocking to me that after 13 games people still find this surprising.

The line played well today, but I still think Drew got rid of the ball little quicker today which made the line look better.

Drew got rid of the ball a little quicker because he had more options as pass receivers.

To add to that, we may be learning that putting Drew in an ultra conservative offense is the absolute worst thing to do for him. (I've suspected it and said all along.)

These are the games that make Bledsoe's season numbers look passable if one only looks at stats. When he gets a defense with an exploitable secondary and a vastly below average pass rush from the dline in perfect weather, this is the Bledsoe we see.

Next week in Washington, he gets a very questionable secondary and a non-existent d-line push. If the weather breaks he'll have a huge day and people will be contacting the Vatican with sainthood questions. It doesn't and we'll see the Bledsoe from the last month.

It really is that simple.

Some defenses fit his style, some don't. Fortunately for Dallas, Washington and St. Louis fit.

Not really. Last year he had 20 TD 16 INT.

This year he has 20 TD 11 INT. That is, last year he had 45% more interceptions. Plus, he's on a pace for 25 TDs 13 INT this year.

1 TD 2 INT was not nearly as bad as Buffalo Bledsoe's games such as last year's Burgermore Ravens game (0 TD 4 INT) or the 2nd Pats game (0 TD 3 INT). Since that Pats game Drew is 14-6, 7-3 on the road, with 31 TD 15 INT and his 6 losses by a combined 24 pts (4 ppg).

Same old stroy. Give him time to throw and he will do OK. Really stepped up today after last week. That is what we need from here on.

I love when Bledsoe DOES, cause he CAN, why so many always forget all he can DO is beyond me.

The guy is a trooper with a big heart and I'll say it again I couldn't be more happy that he's with us instead of some journeyman bus-driver we could have been with. Or god-forbid, Vinny AGAIN. (Whoa, I just got motion-sickness thinking of the way he drives bus)
