it really goes to show that IF he has time that he is a good QB. We know what we need to do to make this team a really good team. Overload on OL

iceberg said:i'm glad drew had a good game. it's "short sighted" to think that a bad KC pass defense didn't have much to do with it, OR our OL didn't do a MUCH better job today.
both are the case and i'm glad drew could put it together and have a good game.
big_neil said:As if you enjoyed this win. Drew took the fun out of it for you (ooh they ALMOST intercepted him!)
I take the fun out of the win for the naysayers, yes. They don't deserve to enjoy a win delivered by Drew.

big_neil said:That is simply false. Look at the 3 TDs: in all cases Drew's team was trailing. One was arguably the greatest throw of his life - the 71 yard flee flicker that I missed when I was on a payphone. The other was an absolutely perfectly throw ball to Witten (as was the one off Keyshawns face). And in the final drive Drew had 2 TDs, but Witten dropped one.
AND KC offset their poor defense by SCORING 28 POINTS.

Martice said:Come on Big Neil. You are losing all credibility as a Cowboys fan because you are trying to make everyone here "praise" Drew. You are putting Drew before the team and that is not fair just as trying to blame Drew for the short comings on the 'O' line. Take your pick but you can't have it both ways.
Can you admit that the offensive line played better and should we congratulate them as well? What about MBIII who's running forced the KC defense to play up on the line allowing us to sell the flea flicker?
Come dude. Are you a Drew fan or a Cowboy fan?
Drew had a great game but so did the offense as a whole.
Give it up.

iceberg said:thanks, dave. he seems to be one that loves to point out the good plays. hey, i see 'em. i'm glad today he had a lot of 'em. but what is he doing now would be the same for cowboy fans NOT drew fans as well to come in and gload on each and every bad play.
drew is what he is - an above average qb who at 33 still has his problems that can be frustrating as hell. some of us don't see him as a viable long term answer, or one who'll get us to the superbowl and we'll look at overall season performance OR MORE if we have it, not just get all woody on ONE good game when the last 4 before that were NOT good.
now let's see if we can keep this up and see how far we can go - and i'd love to be wrong overall, not just in A game OF WHICH he will have his share of good/great games. it's why he's still an NFL qb.
