WHY...because it wasn't a flashy pick? When we drafted a solid OL none of those were "flashy" picks either......................you have to have these types of picks so the flashy picks CAN flash.

Hurns, Williams, Beasley, Switzer, Brown and Thompson aren’t terrible.

TE is a little more meh.

But people act like you can fix your entire roster in two picks.

And I was anti-OG in Rd 1 but to come back in Rd 2 and get a guy that was considered by some a first round OL.

The current Cowboys offensive scheme does not use their tight-ends aggressively so even though Dallas Goedert is a really good tight-end, it would have been a wasted pick for the Cowboys to draft him in the second round. The smart play was to rebuild the hole in the offensive line and then throw numbers at the other positions such as tight-end, receiver, etc. in the later rounds.

Dak has no weapons outside of Zeke.

This will be a tough year.

Jordan Reed and Travis Kelce were 3rd round picks. Antonio Brown was a 6th rounder. If the only place you can find players is round 1 and 2 you're not going to compete, anyway.

Pretty nice how they just jumped us for Dallas Goedert ( who was named after the Dallas cowboys) on the day Witten retires. I love Conner Williams but TE was a huge need and Philly knew it. I hate that team.

Not sure why our front office is so passive .....first in free agency and now during the draft.

What does that have to do with who Dallas picked? If Jerry was as smart as you would he have given up a third rounder to move from 50 to 49 and get a tight end and leave guard unfilled?

If you were as smart as me then you would know that it doesnt cost a 3rd to move up 1 spot..

Great pick. Our season was derailed by Sean Lee and Tyron Smith missing time. I think both picks have greatly increased our ability to handle either injury this time.

not a big fan of this pick but now that is something to think about. if lee and smith would have stayed healthy we probably would have won 12 games last year. now with Williams and flemming we might actually have viable options at left tackle if smith has another year with his back acting up on him.
