The current Cowboys offensive scheme does not use their tight-ends aggressively so even though Dallas Goedert is a really good tight-end, it would have been a wasted pick for the Cowboys to draft him in the second round. The smart play was to rebuild the hole in the offensive line and then throw numbers at the other positions in the later rounds.

I seriously wonder if we're going to get Izzo tomorrow in round 7.

WHY...because it wasn't a flashy pick? When we drafted a solid OL none of those were "flashy" picks either......................you have to have these types of picks so the flashy picks CAN flash.

We have one of the best o lines in football we need receivers.

Great pick. Our season was derailed by Sean Lee and Tyron Smith missing time. I think both picks have greatly increased our ability to handle either injury this time.

Yep.....you can't ask for a better draft. I may have wanted other guys....but what the Cowboys did do was so far draft two potential starters.

And I was anti-OG in Rd 1 but to come back in Rd 2 and get a guy that was considered by some a first round OL.

Get a WR or TE in the 3rd. Great day.

People always talked about how great this line was.....and at it peak it was great but its never been this good. This is the first time they have actual depth. The best depth in awhile. I really wanted Anthony Miller.....but I can understand the guard pick there and the lineman. Especially after Atlanta last year.

I am hoping the 3rd rd pick will be either PSU WR DaeSean Hamilton or Clemson WR Deon Cain. Would be great if the Cowboys get Hamilton in the 3rd and Cain in the 4th.

That would make this an awesome draft in my opinion.
