Played for Kansas and got 10 sacks/ 20 TFL the yr before. Pretty sure he was the only guy on D that got double-teamed/chipped then worked away from. I do remember him giving Connor Williams fits, the radio guys say he worked Brown too.
I love this kids drive and hustle!

The fact he was on a very terrible team and always have 100 percent says a ton about his character

Actually, we do. There's no way to know if Dlaw will be back next year, and Ealy is an experiment. So, this was a good move. Plus, he might be able to be shifted to OLB if needed.

He cannot play LB in a 4-3 defense running 4.9. Unless he can't run because of injury and he's really faster than that he is strictly DE or DT. He has DT speed.

Yeah that too. But you have to ask yourself how much they like them if they weren't willing to trade up to get them.

Fwiw, on ESPNs best available coming into today, Settle was in the 30 range

I get that.........but if you got a DE rated higher than you do a dt which is also a need.....you take the DE.
