***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Love Stephen Grahams work interestingly enough he and Ashley Walters who both star in this are also in that Thousands Blows show on Disney Plus that releases around the same time.
Curious was it the show itself you found lacking or production?
I was hoping it actually showed the interaction between the boy and the girl. First when he hinted he liked her. Him reading the messages on his phone and getting angry. .Also him asking his friend for a knife.
I did not mind that it was not gory and bloody. But they could have shown the crime and how it built up more at the end of it when he was talking.

Finished "Reacher" season 3. I was not crazy about it. The series seems to be tired already. I don't see how they can squeeze any more out of this thing but it has been renewed for a 4th season. There is also a spinoff coming, which will be about Reacher's pal Neagley. When I saw her in Reacher season 3, I noticed she looked a bit more buff and less hard looking. Being the lead in her own series probably caused he to get in better shape. I am guessing of course.

As for Reacher S3, it's not awful but it wasn't that good either. Reacher is actually an arrogant jerk, so anyone liking him is a stretch to start off. The plot of this season was pretty typical of these shows. No real plot twists or original ideas. Of course it was kind of silly in a lot of ways too.

I have some specific beefs with the show, especially the last episode.

First, the fight between Reacher and Paulie was way too long and drawn out. Professional boxers work out like crazy to get in shape for a fight but they need rest after 3 rounds and there are not taking the kind of beating Reacher and Paulie gave each other. I think some shows/movies make the mistake of making fight scenes or chase scenes too long. These are features of a show, not the plot. I get it. It's the big show down between two huge guys. and by the way, fighting in or under water is very strenuous and as a result your body burns oxygen faster. No one holds their breath under water very long while exerting themselves.

I prefer the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indian Jones is confronted by a huge Arab guy with a big wide bladed curved sword. Jones just pulls out his gun and shoots the guy. Prolonged unrealistic fight scene avoided! The fight scene in Reacher was so long the rest of the episode seemed rushed and squeezed in. Something like that is also satisfying. What Reacher went through in that excessively long scene was ridiculous.

Reacher killing guys in cold blood seemed a little out of character or something. If it was 1 guy maybe it would be something to overlook but this season he was a killing machine. When the line is blurred between the good and the bad guys, it is harder to root for the hero. And who keeps loaded guns on display in his house? And who hangs a fully loaded Uz (and a bunch of other assault weapons) on the wall?

I don't know what kind of glue Richie used to fix that toy gun, but modern glues set in minutes. Even Elmer's Glue would have dried by the time his dad tried to fake it with the toy. In fact, one of the problems people have with modern glues is they set so fast it often prevents getting a perfect fit with the pieces being glued. This is being a bit picky but to me it is lazy writing.

The shootout between the ATF and the bad guys where everyone is killed had too many head shots/kill shots. That was unrealistic. Nothing about that scene was realistic at all. Miraculous how every ATF guy in body armor is shot dead but Reacher and his pals all escape un harmed.

Again, I am being picky but all this stuff adds up to kind of turn me off to the show.

I give Reacher season 3 no more than a 5.
