***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

The Last of Us tonight, episode two…….wow. I didn’t play the game and had no idea what was in store
I haven't played the game either, but already had read spoilers so I knew what was coming this season. It was still a darn good episode. Not sure if the rest can keep it that way though.

I thought it was amusing that the group "looked" military. They screamed the opposite of military. Should have been a more rugged looking group. They made that way too coincidental and easy. That girl wasn't even in correct cold weather gear and wouldn't have even survived that.

As someone who knew it was coming...didn't expect it so soon but the non gamers...it sucks. Imagine actually experiencing it in game. It's the Abby and Ellie show now.

I thought they did a pretty good job of sticking to the game but there were several differences that won't affect the story. It is definitely the Abby and Ellie show now. On a side note, I was originally unimpressed by the choice of actresses to play Abby, but she looks exactly like her only not buff. That was a good choice. I can't wait for the arcade!

I am waiting till all the episodes are out before I binge the rest of the season. But if it is the Abby and Ellie show now that sounds bad to me.

The Bondsman with Kevin Bacon.

Not bad, Not great. But a fun watch even though it is a bit cheesy.

The only thing that sucks is that they are shorter episodes and only a few of them.

Just finished this yesterday. I like the idea of the show, but it could have been so much better. Netflix categorizes it as a comedy. I didn't crack a smile until episode 7. I cracked a tiny smile once, but never laughed. It is not funny so if that was the intent I think it missed the target by a wide margin.

A lot of the acting was really sub-par. Not that it was distracting but it just seemed unpolished. I get the impression Bacon made this to extend the Kevin Bacon game into a new generation. He is staying relevant.

I started by saying it could have been better. I think that stems partly from the acting, and partly from the awful dialogue most of the show. Maybe those two things are the same.

The episodes are short, under 30 minutes in most cases, as you mentioned.

I liked that they kept it moving with something in each episode, or maybe 2 episodes and they didn't drag it along in order to build up a big shock ending. The end of the last episode leaves room for a new season.

I haven't looked to see if this is renewed for another season. If Amazon cancelled Peripheral I don't see how they renew this show. But it is Amazon so it would not surprise me if they do add another season. If they do, I doubt I will watch it unless I have nothing else to binge.

I rate it 5 out of 10. get some better writers and this show could be a 7 or 8.

Started a show on Apple TV called 'Your Friends and Neighbors' with Jon Hamm. He plays a former hedge fund manager who, after losing his job and going through a divorce, resorts to stealing from his affluent neighbors to maintain his family's lifestyle.

Absolutely loving it so far. There are only 3 episodes out right now, and of course, the last one ended in a great cliffhanger!! Hate that. Just give me the entire season!

Me too!!! I'm holding out. I don’t want to wait week to week (even though I played the game and know the story). I just want to binge it at my own pace.
