***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Deep Space Nine was my least favorite star trek.
Probably my least favorite Captain, not the actor but the character.
Least favorite Doctor
Best characters on the series was Odo and Quark.
The bajorian character, or actor, annoyed me for being too whiny.
They had to bring two from SNG to help it out.

The Defiant was kind of cool but the station life itself I just did not care for
There was also the other show that kind of mirrored deep space nine around the same time with babylon 5. DS9 have the advantage of being in the already existing Star Trek universe.

I really wasn't a fan of DS9 either, but there were some cool aspects. I liked most of the main characters, minus Dr. Bashir. I didn't like the Dominion, or the concept behind them. The Cardassians were good antagonists, I thought. Kind of a cross between Romulans and Klingons. There was too much focus on the kids, in some episodes and too much Ferengi face time.

Captain Sisko was a little dramatic, but ultimately a great character, having to be Captain, Emissary, and single father.

Started watching Primal on HBO Max. It’s an animated series with no dialogue that’s really good.

I was impressed by ST Strange New Worlds. Good actors.
As far as streaming services go, I really like Acorn. The NZ, Australian, and UK shows movies etc are quality.
“Upright” is a great film with Tim Minchin.

Interesting. You never know with Cage when it comes to movies. He might have a bunch of really crappy ones and bang he will have a good one.
This being a series, wonder if his voice and delivery starts grating on the nerves if too much time passes.

Also just seems like an odd premise to mix those two styles together. Maybe a different superhero instead of spider man. Also just seeing the main picture, it reminded me of Frank Millers Sin City.

Finally got around to watching this. Only half way in.
It is good for an action show of sorts but at the same time I can tell this is going to get a tad tiring. Looks like they already cancelled the next season which is probably a good idea as this should be a mini series.

This is a youtuber channel. I really enjoy watching these. Guys background is pretty amazing. From working on friends cars in the parking lot of the Indian restaurant he worked at to rebuilding these high end luxury vehicles.

Also Starfleet Academy : I hope they explain why Nus Braka has a tic-tac-toe game shaved into the side of his head. Any insights, @DallasEast ?
I have no idea. It may have something to do with his dual nature as a Klingon/Tellarite hybrid. Maybe it is self-expressive of his inner bad attitude/worst attitude--with his Klingon half being his bad side, lol.

I think they are getting even shorter. The last one was 25 minutes :muttley:
Yeah kind of disappointed. There is not many episodes as is and they are all short. Season already over.

House of the Dragon should be starting soon.

Finally watched the latest season of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix this weekend. I really enjoyed it. It's such a well-written, engaging show. Definitely looking forward to the next season.
I agree. I really like this show. I had a few issues with the last couple of episodes but overall it is a really good show. Every season has been top notch. Is there going to be a 5th season? I hope so. It's one of the better Netflix products.

I am not even sure what happened or where this is going. My daughter sent me some stuff about how Duncan the Tall connects to GoT, and some of the other characters too, but Knight of the 7 Kingdoms was a borefest for me. Maybe I will go back and watch it again paying closer attention but the first time around I had a hard time keeping interest.

I thought it was pretty darn good but too short. The writing is so much better than a lot of other shows.
