***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Damn...I have to say that season of House of The Dragon was crazy epic. Every other show on TV needs to bend the knee.

Went back and watched this. Still a good one. I did not like the second season, it was just too depressing and had no characters you could like.
Do not remember if I watched the third season so I might try that one next.

Did like the fourth season although some did not...except for the idea of an old haggered looking jodie foster having a adult relation scene.

3rd season was much better than the 2nd season. Forgot his name and too lazy to Google, but it was the guy who was supposed to be playing the new Blade. Mahershna? But yeah, they almost blew it with that 2nd season. Only because they showed me Alexandra Daddario jump on the cop in full nudity, did I forgive them.

That was in the first season.

Is anyone else watching ‘ Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’?

It’s the Big Bang Theory spinoff on HBO.

My wife and I were big fans of the original series, and this takes things up to 11.

The wacky premise allows the writers to put the characters in any crazy situation they can dream up, and I’m here for it.

Really enjoying this so far and I hope they keep it going.

I posted about it on the previous page. It's pretty funny, and I like the "guest" appearances from the original cast. Bert could read the phone book and it'd crack me up.

I absolutely loved The Big Bang Theory, so this is very much on my radar......I just keep forgetting about it. I need to get it into my rotation. I guess the good news for me, at this point, is that I'm allowing several episodes to build up.

Last I checked, they have released 4 episodes so far.

But good news! The series has already been renewed for a second season!

Just random comments or rants

This season of Star Trek strange new worlds...Weird season. I like an episode, the next one do not, following one I like, the next one I do not. Next episode should be one I like again. lol

Four episodes in for Reacher. It is ok but not as good as some of the prior seasons.

House of Dragons....Did not realize that the 8th episode the week prior was the season finale. Was looking for the next episode sunday night to no avail lol. I think all the other seasons were around 10 episodes.

September should be a good month for some of the series I like.
I think Slow Horses, Mob Land, The Gentlemen and finally the Final season of Outerbanks...yes I know it is a teener type show but I do like the treasure hunting aspect of the show.

Ok, I finally dove in last night and......I love it. It is so unapologetically cheesy, but in all the right ways, and I found it genuinely funny. I was bummed at how quickly the first four episodes went by.

@Runwildboys Bert is awesome! Might be my favorite new character.

Forgot....the show Lanterns started.

First episode is kind of meh. But hoping it gets better.
Lanterns' first episode was better than I expected. It is low key and a mystery/suspense story, which I was not sure would work.

The cynical Hal Jordan takes me back to the 90's comics a little bit. The character was far FAR worse, but somewhat the same in terms of being critical of everything. I am really interested in where this story ends up at, especially after the antagonists were already hinted at in the trailers.

Melissa Rauch as the evil witch has been my favorite so far. I just know in my gut Chuck Lorre and her discussed that role together. It is exactly the type of humor she loves, kinda like Bernadette on super steroids, lol.

I am not crazy about the casting so far. Kyle Chandler is not doing it for me so far. It is very early in the show but his personality is not flashing.

Is the aging super hero going to be a thing now? Amazon has Spider Noir, with Nicholas Cage playing an aging Spiderman. And now Kyle Chandler as an aging Green Lantern? What's next? Sylvester Stallone as a geriatric Superman?

The thing I like most about forums is reading different opinions. I think Chandler has nailed Hal Jordan to this point, especially within the context of the show's genre. It is the actresses playing the sheriff and the ranch owner's wife that are not doing it for me so far.

Just my opinions:
  • Amazon is trying (I think weakly) to capitalize on the superhero bonanza by getting Sony to use their license of the character--along with satisfying Nicolas Cage's superhero fetish that he is too old to indulge in anymore. Kinda like old Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Terminator re-tries.
  • I think they are making sure general audiences understand they will eventually focus on the 'newer' Green Lanterns of Earth than the old ones they may have so inkling of from their childhoods.
  • Someone should be shot if Stallone plays anything other than a Ravener in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, lol.
