. Think you see at least one shiny new toy offense.

Cecil Shorts.

Garrett loved him as a prospect. Outside/Inside guy fits well with our WR set. Has played well as a #1 WR, so he is depth in case Bryant gets hurt. Wont cost alot of money.

The 2 biggest questions IMO are does Dallas let Murray walk and does Dallas attempt to upgrade the DL with a significant FA addition?

There really aren't any good RBs but maybe we could trade for 1? There are several good d-linemen, including Fairley, Knighten, and JPP who could both be good here. Cap space really doesn't concern me as I have heard it won't be too hard to make between 40-50 without too much work. If we could find a way to fix the line mostly through free agency... then draft some members too our secondary (free agency is really lacking talent here, plus... there is Carr lol) that would be nice. Also bring Carter back for a 1 year deal, he has shown that he can play but... let's see it again lol

I think it will be a big mistake to go into next season with both Barry Church and Wilcox both starting.

Yes, I think both could be decent SS, but neither of them is a free safety and we need one desperately.

Peterson has the fumble history as well...and he isn't going to come much cheaper than Murray... so why do you guys want him so much. Either trade a low draft pick for a guy like Reggie Bush or draft a guy in the mid rounds... we don't need the Peterson circus here.

Catalytic FA player on DL, whether it's Suh or JPP. Obviously Suh is on another level, but JPP is a double digit sack guy and one of the best DE vs the run.

Whichever one we sign, draft a complementary player in round 1 or 2. If Suh, draft a DE like Eli Harold or Nate Orchard or Shilique Calhoun. If JPP, draft a DT like Eddie Goldman or Carl Davis or Mal Brown.

Pick up another utility DL early on day 3. Continued development of Crawford, Lawrence, Bishop, and Coleman should make the DL jump up in productivity. An offseason with Brent in camp will help him as well.

I don't know where we go for CBs or S. It's a poor year in the draft. It's super expensive in free agency. It's also a question what kind of coverage we'll employ next year if Marinelli/Kiffin are gone. If we're back to playing toward the strengths of Carr (and maybe Claiborne), are we all that bad at CB? Does a pass rush cover up most issues in the secondary? We definitely need to move on from Moore.

RT, I'd like to see us resign Parnell and draft someone like Ereck Flowers of Miami or draft a G like Josue Matias or AJ Cann and move Martin out to RT.

Franchise Murray. Maybe someone will sign him to an offer sheet and give us high picks.

Sign Dez Bryant, obviously. Say goodbye to Free, Durant, Melton, and Selvie. On the fence with Anthony Spencer, Bruce Carter, and Ro McClain. Good deal and I'm ok with it. I think Dwayne Harris will want out but I'd like him back.

Tender Beastly at a 2nd round level. If you can get a 2nd for him, take it. If nobody bites, sign him up for a 4 year deal. Tender Leary and Dunbar as well.

I think Linehan will stick around. Marinelli leaves and Eberflus gets elevated. Callahan, who knows?

If we spend a decent amount of dough on the defense and bring in 2 impact starters, Id be willing to take a look at Gurley if he slips to us.

I am just dreaming about signing Suh and JPP... and that to Crawford and DLaw/Mincer... *drools* probably just a dream though.

My first wish is they retain Marinelli and Linehan. They helped make Garrett better. We may be in trouble without them or comparable replacements.

I think Church is fine but the other safety has be better to offset what Church is. Wilcox is not that guy. He showed some flashes throughout the year. Last few games I though he looked really bad and almost lost out there frankly. And the angle of attack on guys...wow.

Id gladly take Suh and Sheard. Sheard is a good 4-3 that's been miscast as a 3-4 OLb.

At his best he is no JPP, but he will be cheap and a strong rotational player

Calhoun announced today he's staying at MSU next year. But your post is solid. Especially franchising Murray....NO BRAINER IMO. He's not worth the risk on a long term deal. Dez? Hmmm.......trickier proposition. Can he be trusted? Don't know at this point really.

Another guy who we might want to look at is Terrance Knighten. Big guy, almost more of a 0 tech, but if we could find a spot for him in our line he is a great run stuffer, space occupier, and occasionally qb cramper.
