I'm going to take a wild, wild guess and say that the mistake in translation was made by.... Calvin Watkins.

I think on draft day Wade did say they would start him at end, but by rookie camp that changed. Maybe they liked what they saw of him at NT or the play of Washington and Dixon at end affected the decision.

I can trump you straight from the horse's mouth. Wade starts talking about Lissemore at the 7:00 mark.

Maybe Wade meant that they were working him at nose tackle "right now" as in during that day's minicamp practice. Lissemore said in that interview I posted earlier that his focus was right end. Of course, that could have been misinterpreted.

Probably not important in the overall scheme of things since Phillips sees him as a Ratliff type who can play at end or NT.

I think Lissemore meant to say "5 technique" end (which is similar to a 3 technique tackle). What I found interesting is that he got most of his reps at the right side (Igor's spot) when many assumed he would be competing for time on the left side (Spears' spot).
