Didn't have a chance to participate in the last few Ogletree threads, so I'm starting my own.
I'd like to read every single member's opinion on him in this thread.
Based on what little we've seen so far, what do you think?
What will his role be this year?
What will his future with the Cowboys be?
I don't follow College Football like I used to. Unlike some posters here, I don't have pet cat rookie players. I have no fan affiliation with a particular college and could care less who makes this team or succeeds with this team.
I just want the Cowboys to be the best team it can be.
Now with all that said, I like to say I'm extremely impressed with Ogletree.
Sometimes a guy just jumps out at me and makes me say wow! Where the hell did he come from and does he have any siblings we can draft.
I seldom come on here and endorse any particular rookie or other young unproven player with a strong opinion of what he is or will be .
I did this with Romo in Aug of 2006. Now I know that means nothing in relation to Ogeltree and I'm not looking for a cookie or any type of credit for getting on the Romo bandwagon early.
What I am saying is that Ogletree has given me a similar WOW feeling this summer as Romo did in 2006.
I think he has a chance to be a real good player for us. Perhaps even this year. I'm actually a little excited that Hurd and Miles aren't 100% healthy.
It will give Ogletree a chance to see some playing time.
