I dont know about activating him but Miles has been MIA since the Tampa Game. To be honest that offense is missing something and I am not referring to TO:(

I'm starting to think so, too. We have no one with any quickness. Ogletree might be that guy.

Got to love that several of these young guys could be a shot in the arm later in the season.

The offense racked up 438 yards in just nine possessions (not counting the kneel-down possession, or its yards). That's 48.7 yards per possession, which is a huge number.

We didn't score much because we had terrible starting field position most of the time, and we had a few untimely penalties and/or sacks that killed our drives. But the offense had no problem moving the ball tonight or in the first two games.

will it really affect our ST that much if we activate ogletree in place of hurd?.we need our WRs to make plays, they are barely getting open as of now.

he should be #4 but Hurd is too valuable on special teams

Adam I understand where your coming from but it just seems that there is a different flow to this offense maybe because ther is no real vertical threat that can take it to the house from any where on the feild in the passing game

Our TE was getting most the recieving action which is ok but we need our WRs to step up. Like I stated in my thread yesterday about Ogletree we need a quick and fast WR we have to many long strided WR playing for us. Let the kid play he could impress

I don't think we need a vertical threat... We need a guy who can create separation in the middle of the field. Think Wes Welker.

The best guy is are number 2 in Crayton who had a good game and had another catch called back because of a penalty and it was a big 1st down catch:(

this team will never admit UDRFA is better than guys they have spent yrs developing... OTree would have more than 1 catch in 2 games if he got the snaps Miles is getting.... FACT!

It is about time for Austin to get hurt and miss a few games, once that happens Ogletree is activated, Miles may not get back on the field.

I was wondering why Ogletree was not suited up for the Tampa game?
Miles and Hurd may not be with the team next season, or at least Miles, because as someone said Hurd is a valueable ST guy.

We could, and I am starting this right now, we will have RWilliams and the double trees, meaning Ogletree and Crabtree.
I am calling those things that be not, as though they were. I say the Cowboys will have Crabtree. Can I get everyone else to say this as well, I have always been taught that you have what you say.

I do not believe Crabtree will sign will play football this season, and I know that he is a Cowboys fan and that is his dream to play for the Cowboys.
Do he have to go back into the draft? I know in November he automatically goes back into the draft, I was wondering if he can withdraw his name and just go and try out for any team of his choice, is this possible?

Also his agent Eugene Parker has had dealings with the Cowboys, I wonder if Eugene and Deion have been talking with Jerry secretly? I also wonder if sometime later in the month of Oct. if another teams GM could go and talk to the 9ers about trading for Crabtree's rights

Miles and Hurd are also UDFA Crayton was a 7th or 6th rounder

The team has done a good job of getting solid players from the UDFA market and developing them to at least contribute to the team. If you get anything more than that it is just gravy

Didn't we just have three different guys do that in Week 1?

And Roy AVERAGED more yards per catch tonight (18.8) than the LONGEST catch any of the Panthers' wide receivers had all game (15 yards). Crayton would have, too, if one catch hadn't been called back.

We have three wide receivers and a running back all averaging at least 20 yards per catch this season. Overall, our yards per catch average (14.4) is the third-highest in the league.

Except the fact that guys they are developing were also UDRFA. Austin has been MIA since the the Tampa game, but he did have a nice game against Tampa. Relax! Were still only 3 games in the season. No need to bench Austin just yet. Olgetree will get his oppurtunity sometime this season.
