Hall gets all sorts of pub, but when you watch him play he is just another guy

and in addition to getting beat alot, he is a TERRIBLE tackler and is a total punk on the field

Hey, I agree that Hall is overrated. I just don't think he's "Awful" in coverage.

I dont know what he's done off of it, but I know whenever you watch him on the field he comes with cheap shots and all sorts of trash talk (that he cant back up with his play)

One thing's for sure, if his play on the field were as big as his mouth, he'd be the greatest of all time.

Champ doesn't get burnt a lot, he's still a great corner, I have way more respect for him than Hall, unfair to compare the two. Bailey doesn't run his mouth like Hall.

Champ you can't deny him being good. he reminds me of primetime alot, he'll get beat but then hes right back at you and makes an INT

I don't think Hall is as terrible as people on this forum think he is, but watching Hines Ward with one shoe out run him really put a dent his image in my mind.

hall is inconsistent. he can have a game with 2 picks 1 for a td than the next week get burned for 2 tds. but he is a good corner. but champ is #1 ya know

fail to understand even after testimony from his own fans that he stinks, a lousy year in 2005 (55th in the league on one on one), some people on this board still call him a good CB. I looked at some Falcon boards and they have been roasting him for almost a full year now. He stank last year and yesterday is typical of his play this year. The ONLY people hyping him are ESPN.

Yeah, Hall look pedestrian in that game. He had one of those games that Henry has had this year that we complained about.

This one is cut and dry:
Hall is very good.
Newman is better.

You can watch both guys play, and Hall is flashier and makes more noise. And you will hear Hall's name more than Newman's because teams will throw at Hall. But at the end of the game (and season) look at the stats of the guys Newman covers and compare it to the stats of the guy that Hall covers and the answer is obvious about who was better.
