Oh Eagles Fans Are Going to Lose It

& to think people actually thought Terrell was the big problem between Terrell and McFlabb. Time reveals the hidden truth...

McNabb has gotten progressively worse with the media ever since TO came around. He used to be pretty good about keeping his mouth shut.

He is the best QB the Eagles have ever had, but that's not really saying alot.

He will definitely still be around next year, and starting. Reid isn't going to shove a second rounder into starting in just his second season.

If McNabb's been overly criticized, and at times he has, it's because he plays in Philadelphia. For the most part, it has nothing to do with his color. I say for the most part because there are some racist idiots in Philly who get on him because of his color.

OMG! How pathetic is this?!! OH...so now it's T.O's fault that McPunk is a mental midget, huh?

How about it, Cowboy fans? Isn't this the one of the most stupid comments you have ever heard?

T.O's been gone two years from that stink hole, yet, he's still causing that loser McPuke troubles?!!

Yeah, right....pathetic, period!

The man is not healthy. I wonder what would've been said if Carson Palmer had struggled coming off the ACL last year. I'm sure his health would've been the excuse.

What Tobias said was correct. McNabb was a media darling before Owens came there but since then they have been in his face a lot more. Once it started it didn't stop. Not defending McNabb, just speaking the truth.

Please don't group me in with the masses. I never said that was Terrell's fault. Thanks.

Well... some posters on here said that they would be blaming TO even after he was gone.... I thought they were kidding though :lmao:

The whole thing is hard to swallow, actually. There have been a few good QB's in Philly. Jaws, Gabriel and Cunningham. I can't remember any others.

Thinking Reid is gonna have the last say wether Donovan stays or goes is dillusional at best.

Donovan is the one who played the race gig. On a huge stage. How do you mean it's not racial AND it's some racist idiots. Is Donovan the racist idiot you refer to?

I agree-let's not get in over our heads here. If anything, it was his contract situation, more than anything else, that ticked him off, and nothing more.

Anyhow-after that SB loss, McNabb told reporters, "We'll be back!"-to me, that had to be one of the most arrogant and disrespectful statements I've ever heard. At least 99% of QBs that lose in the big game will eat humble pie. I've lost respect for him since.

It was also when McNabb told him that he had to throw it to other receivers too.

It wasnt that McNabb was wrong for wanting/needing to do that... it was a jab at TO from McNabb.... "this is my team not yours"

That is really the issue for McNabb IMO. He felt like Owens took the limelight away from him and he couldn't handle it. Since Owens left he has been hurt a lot and not the main attraction so he has come out with these dumb statements at times.

I am glad that the Eagles were dumb enough to let Garcia go as he was outstanding for them last season and fit their offense perfectly. The fact that he is in his late 30s had a lot to do with their decision but I think mostly it was because of McNabb.

McNabb was upset when they drafted Kolb which confirmed my suspicions about him being jealous of the spotlight and not feeling fully supported by management, which is stupid because they have done nothing BUT support him. But that's how his type of mind works and we are seeing it revealed here and there, and as the losses start to pile up, we will see it more frequently.

This will only go downhill for McNabb and the Eagles and I for one couldn't be happier. :D

We're seeing the real McNabb here. There's nobody else to blame anymore.

It's not about Owens.

It's not about Garcia.

And it's sure not about race.

It's about an incredibly insecure person who somehow has the nerve to feel discriminated against despite the fact that he's been blessed more than 99% of the population.

This is the real McNabb talking now.

Clearing up any remaining misconceptions about being a 'classy' guy during the Owens blowout. "Black-on-black" crime"? Please.

Fact is that 'Mr Insecurity' sees the writing on the wall. And sees his NFL mortality staring him in the face.

And he can't handle it.

But rather than suck it up and use the situation as motivation, 'Mr Insecurity' tanks it instead.

I don't see McNabb back in Philadelphia next year. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he were traded this year.

That idiot in Minnesota would probably give next year's #1 for him.

exccuse making for McFlabb again

you know what, Palmer didnt struggle...I also recall Troy Aikman undergoing major back surgery before TC in 1993, only to come back and have an amazing yr...and he came back earlier than anyone thought he would at the time

I guess the real cancer didnt sign with Dallas afterall did he?

He's still there in Philly

there is a reason they drafted a QB with their first pick this yr, and I think its becoming obvious it had less and less to do with "injuries" and more and more to do with poor play and being an issue in the lockerroom

Agreed-remember when Flo tore his ACL 2 years ago? Last year, he pretty much hobbled throughout AND got a storm of criticism, but NOT ONCE did he make an excuse, much less said a peep.

Now you talk about a class act.
