Oh Julius, you had to open your mouth

That reminds me.....Julius had a couple of huge games early on in his career, much like Miles Austin had recently.

Hope Miles heads in a different direction than Julius did.

Sounds like you don't remember the brief period when Julius Jones was the Cowboys super star.

I still have a couple of 3D cups I bought from a huge display at WalMart that came in only one style....Julius Jones.

Come on what did ya want the guy to say, something like... "we are so going to get our aces kicked"

He wouldn't be allowed to play and would have a lot of explaining to do to his teammates and coaches.

Jones looks better this year then he's looked since his rookie season. Still, I don't think he's gonna light it up vs the Cowboys.

pretty standard quote from a guy playing his former team in my opinion.

I agree JJ won't be a factor on Sunday, but what's the guy supposed to say? I can't wait to suck on Sunday?

That would have been a more accurate statement.

If they run about 20 draw plays and nothing else, maybe he'll get some yardage. =P That's the only play he ever gained any yards on while playing here.

JJ has had a couple of good games this year and he will be pumped. It will be in our best interest to stop him early because if we don't it is a possibility he can get rolling. I pretty confident that if we don't over run our lanes we should be able to bottle him up, but if we don't have proper gap integrity he has the speed to gash us.

I look for a determined effort by Jones. Dallas has to pay attention to the draw plays not just pin their ears back going after the QB.

:hammer:

It is going to be tempting for the dline to rush Matt from all angles because he is not mobile. They just need to remember that JJ is a beast when he gets the draw. We should be ok, just handle our business take care of our responsibility and the game will take care of itself.

I agree. James and Brooking will play a big part in not allowing Seattle to gash us with the draw plays.

Yes, I hope we haven't gotten overconfident.

It is not a matter of overconfidence, it is a matter of pressing and trying to do too much to make a play.

I would hope this team learned that lesson last year. Nothing should be taken for granted you want to win go earn it.
