I think the movie, I forget the Bond Movie, has herione that had sex change operation from Man to Woman. So yeah, there is such a thing.

Heck I almost asked out a woman in a bar, who had similar procedure. I learned later and then after hearing her Voice, it made it clear. Whew!

This article rapidly leaves the world of sports and moves.....somewhere else. The subject matter frankly makes me uncomfortable because it is incomprehensible (to me). The lack of clarity present in our society (culture?) these days gives a vague feeling of fear because other (competing) cultures don't seem to exhibit this phenomena. Anyone seen this type of story emanating from the Islamic world? I'm not trying to make judgements here, or draw any conclusions, except maybe about myself. This type of thing will always feel alien to me and I feel no incentive to either understand or try to bridge any gap.

I understand. But the incidence is small and obviously under-reported so I don't think you can speak with any authority regarding the incidence of this in other cultures. But it does occur. Native Americans, Asians, Europeans, and Africans I know.

The physical differences in males and females is hormonally induced. Everyone starts out female. By sixteen weeks if there is testosterone on board then you develop male characteristics including a male brain. Even if you are genetically a male with XY chromosomes if testosterone can't get into the cells to work you will stay female.

Behaviors are more genetically, hormonally, and chemically controlled than we wish to believe sometimes.
