I think we tried this with Eddie George. At the time I did not see it as anything wrong with it if we were paying a small price for him...I was wrong.

Let's not try it again with an aging RB that is on the downward slide of his career.

No thanks....

The only person who plays more uninspired and emotionless in the league is on our team right now. And he isn't in his 30's yet.

He was a product of Steve Hutchinson.

Who would that be?

I'd rather we draft and play a couple of rookies than pay for any of the available vets at this point.

Well, there was another Seattle cast off who came in last year to play for a year at a minimum (or thereabouts) and did so well he was franchised this year. If Alexander finds no takers for a big payday, he might want to try that route again.

There is no risk. If he doesn't do well in training camp, he is history -- cut before the season starts. An MVP ordinarily doesn't deteriorate to mush in one year unless something is wrong with him physically or with his environment.

Maybe a new environment is all he needs to be himself again.

Do you really want to go there?

I honestly didn't know at first. Then scanning the Cowboys roster and recalling the various posts calling for his head, I finally found out who he was talking about. :)

Well you could go with a past seattle castoff that came to dallas and played the same position...CW.

No. I don't think our OLine can open up holes big enough for a RB with a giant fork sticking out of his back.
