For the notoriety and thus, monetary gain. Most of them are just like most in the media. No morals. Whatever it takes to get more $$ they will do. If that means defending a Mom who microwaved her kid.....

Everyone deserves a defence. I'm pretty certain her lawyer was not paid a lot if anything to defend her given she didn't have a pot to ,,, in

Throughout my life, I have observed the good, bad and evil in people. All three characteristics are shared by both men and women.

The vast majority of people in this world are good in nature. It's the basic reason why society as whole doesn't descent into chaos and remain there.

All people are capable of doing bad things. Some of those bad things lead to discomfort and disapproval from others. This is a part of what makes life interesting when victims of bad intentions aren't permanently harmed.

Then there are people who are evil. You identified one who happens to be female. Unfortunately, you do not seem to understand the difference between evil females and those who aren't.

She deserves jail but killing her won't bring the child back.

No, but it does make the rest of us feel better and get her off the payroll. The fact that it takes so long to kill people and the cost difference isnt that great is another matter entirely.

Someone here understands the role of the public defender.

At any rate, justice was served no matter which way you wanted it - she's off the streets and out of society. The means to that end are irrelevant, in my opinion.

Not to sound dis-respectable to that poor baby, but it might have been the best thing for the child. Parents that make a choice like that continue on beating and abusing their children, and killing them.

I really feel sorry for that woman. She will get hers in prison. Just like men in prison that hate child molesters or killers, the woman hate that kind of stuff too.

As dark as it sounds, this is actually a fair point. A few minutes of torture likely saved that child a lifetime of abuse and torment.

Still, I cannot imagine a fate worse than being cooked alive like that. Hopefully the child passed out quickly.

I know many disagree, but IMO, living in prison for the rest of her life with the knowledge of what she did would be worse than a lethal injection.
