OK! 9-7 and hot streak or 13-3, Bye, Homefield - what do you prefer!

There's the question!

Would you rather be 9-7 and pretty hot going into the playoffs (even with a backup QB who is on fire, who NOBODY thought would play like this)

OR

Would you prefer to be 13-3 with a 1st round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs if you win?

I'm pretty sure I'd still chose the latter option even after today. I'd sure as heck have taken it before the season started AND even at the 1/2 way point of the season!

If the coaches can't get the team focussed within 2 weeks and get Romo and company back on track (defense other than secondary looks pretty solid to me still), then this team has other issues. I say there is some pressure on the coaches right now. The rookie Garrett needs to get his groove back. Wade needs to get some fire going and motivate and toughen this team mentally right now. He's 0-3 in playoffs as a head coach! He has something more to prove this year, and I'm routing for him. Want to see the energy and want him to motivate his players now though. Don't think the soft spoken approach for 2 weeks is the right thing. Stay calm, but light a fire Wade!

This team performs well after byes. Romo seemed to rebound well from bad games and he did well after the long spring/summer layoff. 2 weeks at home to get ready. Other than TO not a ton of lingering injuries should exist now.
NO EXCUSES as was the motto all year. I hope they are po'd. Romo looked cheesed and that is encouraging to me.

I'd prefer the 13-3 and not having to play the hot team in the playoffs. Although if we do, it'd be fun to be the one to knock them off.

While it is true Dallas was the first wild card to win a SB way back when I will take the NFC champion route myself. They have won more as champions than as wildcards.

I'd prefer 14-2 and looking like we give a **** but I guess that's no longer an option.

How many years have the skins done this? Look at marty's record and joe's and it will say they always win 5, lose 6, win 4 lose 5 etc..... but don't do ANYTHING in the PO's since 1991.

They are 1 and done, BOOK IT:eek: :)

Homefield and a weeks worth of rest is a huge advantage, espescially considering that Dallas could potentially face a divisional rival they have exhaustive game tape and have game planned against.

The Cowboys can spend the entire first week breaking down Seattle, and if Washington wins they don't lose much considering that they just played them.

I'd settle for 13-3 and a little momentum going into the playoffs....ANY kind of momentum.

Maybe it's just me but I'm worried..the last month (2-2) has left me wondering about this team's ability to step up when it matters most...

If not for the Bears, we'd be the #2 seed.

Thats not true at all. If the Pack had won, I don't think our key players would've been on the inactive list and Romo damn sure wouldn't have been on the bench in the 2nd half. Have to disagree with ya dude...

Good Lord, I hope they don't spend an entire week breaking down a team (Seattle) that they have no chance of seeing in the first playoff game...

I choose a 3 game win streak. Starting in 2 weeks.

Them and the idiot from Detroit that's too stupid to fall on a fumble. Jerry should send him money or something.

Hmm, that is a very good idea, though, as I've seen many Cowboy fans lately on these message boards telling others to "book it" that the Commanders will lose.

Nevermind we beat the Packers.

Besides this last month is not when it mattered most to this team.
