Ok guys, hear me out before jumping on me, how about Keyshawn Johnson as WR?

Ok guys, it looks like we need a Vet WR, I know that this guy doesnt have deep speed, but how about seeing if Keyshawn Johnson wants to play WR for the Cowboys this year?

Um, with all due respect, I'd rather have Crayton/Hurd who are fit and ready and know the system than a rusty player who could rub T.O. the wrong way.

But thanks for the imagination, something that is in short supply because of too many man crushes on Glenn, Ellis etc. who are impeding the youth.

Speaking of youth, I'd like to see Crayton and Hurd do it by commitee and drive the GiANTs nuts.

I completely respect what Keyshawn brought to the table while a Cowboy.

That said, don't you think it's time to find out what the kids have so the team can better assess their assets and liabilities in the WR area? The current situation is likely to lend itself to a comprehensive understanding of what's behind our aging, if not aged, starters - Owens and Glenn.

Let's don't put ourselves any further behind the 8-ball at WR than we already have.

:hammer: X 1000

My god people, you can't have a freakin' steak on every plate. There's a reason they have a second day of the draft and undrafted free agents. Those guys aren't on the roster for show. It IS possibly to develop a STARTER from those picks.

We've been developing Crayton for, what, 4 seasons now? How about we see if he can handle the starting role? Or how about Hurd and Austin?

Sometimes you people piss me off.

I'd take a chance on Jeremy Bloom, who the Eagles recently let go. He is fast as heck and would give us another kick/punt return option.

He could defintely stretch a defense, I'm just not sure he has the hands.

With Romo having either Jones or Barber in the backfield, TO and Witten as targets, whoever is the other WR should have the benefit of single coverage.

Get real....

Guy had one average season in the Big 12 and then played in the snow because he didn't get his way....

No thanks...

He played in the snow because it was a good financial choice. It was a dumb move by the NCAA. Plus he knows he is not much of a receiver. He is fast and that is about it. He is small and really is not that good.

I am tired of hearing about how Keyshawn has heart. I've never seen him as a leader. He calls out Chrebet for no reason. He gets himself booted from Tampa. He is constantly whining. And now he just really isn't any good. He would bring nothing to the table at this point.

I'm going to throw my support behind Crayton in a Free Agency audition, Hurd, Miles, and Stanback in chances to see some spotlight.

I'm also going to say throw it more to Owens, Witten, and Fasano.

We had a built in cushion for this injury...it's called depth everywhere else. I think Crayton will step up fine.
