Ok, here is a question. How many thought of SB this year?

Not at the begining of the season, but lately? I have to admit I started thinking that lately, especially if Cowboys played real well against Denver and beat them.

Now, I am pretty sure, Cowboys at most will be one game winners in Playoffs if they make it that is. But I think it has to be a home game.

I am pretty convinced this team is not ready to win games in Playoffs. D is ready no doubt. O, is nowhere close to ready. OL especially. Too many injuries to overcome them and a Rookie and Second year starter trying to play beyond their capabilities currently.

Third, I know people will blast me, Bledsoe never gives me any confidence, as to that he wont make a critical mistake at the wrong time. I admit he played lot better than I thought he would, but under pressure, he just seems to make that stupid mistake. Just like I thought Jake Plummer would do yesterday( who was real lucky he wasn't picked at least three times, IMO).

So anyway, I was just wondering how many of you all thought Cowboys had real good chance of going all the way to SB? Come to think of it, I dont want them to go, since I dont think they will win it. Maybe its me, I just rather not have Cowboys go to SB, if their chances of winning it are minimal. At this point, I doubt they go to even NFC championship.

Name an NFC team that is ready for the superbowl. I don't think theres one. I still think we have as good of a shot at it as anyone else.

No, not yet, but if we do make the playoffs, all of these close tough games should pay off in the playoffs.

We have as good of chance as anyone. If Shanle, Crayton, Henry get healthy we are a different team from yesterday. Fowler is a good backup linebacker but he is third string. Glenn Is a good corner but I like henry better and Price is ok he had more than one catch yesterday but Crayton is clutch.

Actually up until the game yesterday I wasn't thinking SB. Now I am. This team showed a lot yesterday. They impressed me and got me excited. We've got as good a shot as anyone in the NFC. I feel confident going against any NFC team.

True, there is none that is ready really. But probably Seattle is closest to that, only if they had better D. Their offense is good enough. Their D is overrated. And thats the reason I really thought Dallas had a good chance. But injuries on OL just killed that chance I think.

I guess I would probably point to Tampa, if they O was good enough. Come to think of it, yep all NFC teams suck really, compared to AFC, when it comes to SB chances. If Colts don't win this year, they probably will have hard time to win again.

I think Denver will get plastered again by Colts. Probably not as bad as before, since their D is little bit improved. But really, Colts OL is not like Cowboys OL. If Cowboys OL was bit better, they could have scored more. Peyton will probably eat them alive again in Playoffs, if as I expect they get HOmefield advantage throughout playoffs ( which at this point seems pretty much a certain).

I think this team will get it together enough to make it deep into the playoffs. They need to be more consistant on offense and the D has to stop giving up the BIG play!

Hmmm...we just missed beating the 2nd best team in the AFC. If we were to play them again I wouldn't bet against us. We've already beaten SD(the 3rd best team in the NFC). Pittsburgh is overrated. NE is a team of 2nd stringers now. The Bengals can't seem to win big games. Jacksonville is above average but not a dominant team. The AFC really only has one dominant team. I'm not sure why everyone says the AFC is so much better than the NFC. It's certainly not the AFC v. NFC record which is 21-20 I think.

Well Cowboys missed beating them at their house. If Cowboys did that well against Denver at their home, then I would consider that a damn good performance.

NOw it is still a very good performance, but not one that I would consider it be Playoff good performance worthy. Now, they wont go and lay down like they did in 2003 certainly, if they make playoffs. But I just don't see them winning at most one game in Playoffs.

AFC 42 to NFC zero, there is no NFC team ready for the SB

Probably close to truth. Although I think realistically no D in AFC is dominating either, so no way they can shut out NFC team. Well unless that team happens to be Chicago Bears.

Despite all our problems we played pretty well yesterday. I think we still have a shot at the superbowl, I can't think of a team in the NFC that is better than us. The top teams are all on the same level in my opinion.

If the offensive line can come together the next 5 weeks Dallas certainly has a shot to make some noise in the playoffs. The playoffs are all about stopping the run which they can do and running the ball which they just arent very good at. I honestly believe Bledsoe audibled to Glenn on 3rd and 1 because he had ZERO confidence in the running game and didnt believe they would pickup that yard on the ground.

Don't all fans think their team is going to the Superbowl? Except Arizona Cardinals fans.

Well, in Pre-season, yes. But really by now, you have to know your team is good or not.

Its obvious now which teams have a chance to be good or are good this year. In NFC its:

Seattle,Bears,Bucs,Panthers, Giants, Cowboys and Atlanta.

Any other team, is just dreaming or wishful thinking at this point, unless something changes dramatically.

I still do think we can make it to the Super Bowl this year. I don't think we can win it though. I think we were better than Seattle. No other team in the NFC is head and shoulders above the rest.

Why not us?

We have to play better, but I see no reason why we can't.

Agreed. I think aside from the Colts we are as good as any team in the league right now. Freeney would give us fits but I think the Colts secondary is their achilles heel. I actually think our defense would match up pretty well with their O. I don't think it would be as lopsided as some do.

Reason is OL? I mean, its not as bad as some think it is either. But really, our OL isn't good at Run blocking at this point seems like. Pass Blocking, sometimes they are good and sometimes they break down. But I think they can do adequate job on Pass blocking.

Anyway, for me, our Offense is not where it is Playoff worthy or caliber as of today, i.e. something that can win playoff games with. Now, maybe Crayton coming back might make a big difference in Passing game, and if it does, then I see a good chance. Because I truly think with the OL injuries, Cowboys are missing Crayton big time. If Al Johnson is out, its going to be interesting to see how Gurode holds up there.

I think this team would be a lot better with the brakes off. On both sides of the ball.

Let the pass rush come hell bent for leather and dare teams to stop us on offense.

This is not the 80's Giants with smashmouth football. We have thoroughbreds. Let them run.

Super Bowl you kidding I was just hoping they would finish 8-8 or 9-7. This team is coming together alot faster then any of us thought or could have hoped for.
