OK kids... first offensive play of the game...

We should go with our standard starting play. Julius Jones for -2 yards and an obvious passing down for Peppers to tee off.

What I would like is to open up in shotgun, empty backfield, deep to TO. What WILL happen is JJ will run into a pile and fall down.

Reverse to Patrick Crayton who then throws the ball to Tony Romo who runs 75 yards for a TD proving that this man really can do it all.

I think we have to test the run D , they are not very solid against the run. A young qb, who threw an INT on his first play last week,, we might run the first 15 plays of the game this week.

Uh, I see many of you have taken on Hos' habit of hitting the NYQUIL bottle. :D

I'd go 3 wide, shot gun draw to Julius.

The Panters are going to be cranked up. I'd run a few delays, misdirection and screens until we slow down their rush a bit.

:laugh2: I think Jones will have a big game this week. The Carolina run D this season hasn't been what it used to be.

:lmao2:

Or, in an attempt to earn the early advantage in field position, Parcells sends McBriar in on first down for a 75 yard punt.

Edit: Seriously, I would like to see a play action deep bomb to Glenn or TO, but we will more likely see a hand off to Jones to the right side.

That might not be until the off season. :D

I hope our DBs have been working on catching drills this week. Delhomme often makes bad choices and trieds to force the ball. We should have at least 2 INT opportunities which will be huge, especially if we can limit our own mistakes.

The fleaflicker.....first offensive play. :)

JJ over RT.

Play action to TO. Unless we get the running game going this will be the only oppertunity for play action to be effective.

No no no...this is totally unacceptable. You're not allowed to talk defense in this thread. :D ;)

What is the first offensive play call going to be?

Romo pass off the helmet of a defensive lineman that goes the other way for 6 points.

Oh, that was last week.

Handoff to Julius to the right.

Conservative, conservative, conservative. It's coming folks. Get ready.

Enjoy the Nyquil.

a roll out to the right and a short gain to Whitten for 4 yards. Pick up some needed yards to keep us out of a hole on 2nd and a high percentage pass if he is nervous to settle him down.

Make ya a nickel bet that we're not going to go conservative.

Mornin' Hos.

Deal. 60% run, 40% pass and less than 2 deep balls all game.

I welcome some slants by the way. Not the 30 yard kind. Shout out to HH.

Safe pass play...maybe a quick out to TG or TO, even just to get 4 or 5 yards.
Get the first pass play complete, even though it may get some minor cinfidence for Tony, but shows Carolina they are not afraid to pass the ball. So they may back off, and then run JJ on 2nd down.
