Ok-Romo or Roethlisberger?

Romo by a mile.

Way more upside as a Qb. Big Ben gets his ups for winning a SB, but that was his defense and running game. He stinks as a qb that has to lead a team. Romo leads the offense, not owens, not barber, It's Romo.

Eli won a Sb throwing 5-10 yard passes and getting extremely lucky..Big Ben that SB means nothing.

ROmo >>>>> BEN>>> ELI

That's gotta be tough. I only live 45 minutes or so from Pissburgh. And hear it all the time. Especially from my wife's dad.

Romo is indeed more athletic. And in my opinion, scares defenses with his improvisational skills. Ben is slower and obviously bigger. But the word around Steeler country from fans who don't wear the rose-colored glasses say Ben holds on to the ball too long.

Also, Ben plays lights out when playing inferior teams, but seems to get rattled when playing tougher competition.

I'm a big Tony Romo fan. And I believe we do have the better QB.

*You going to the Cowboys-Steelers game?

...+1

Romo for 2 reasons

1. Romo is just plain better than Ben

2. Romo has hotter girlfriend than Ben :D

i would take Romo over ben. You do have to take a long hard look at that ring though.

right now i'd take big Ben. he's younger, has a better arm, and has proven he can win big games(postseason)

Hard to argue against Big Ben because he's gotten a team to a 15-1 record, has won a Super Bowl has had three really good years with one mediocre year behind him. Romo has had two fantastic years in his only two years of play and has yet to win a playoff game. Now, that doesn't mean I actually think Big Ben is better or that I would take Big Ben, but essentially Big Ben has the credentials for now. Hopefully we can get the defense to play up to where the Steelers defense has been playing for Ben over the years and Tony can get a Super Bowl of his own and nip this discussion in the bud.

I guess. Big Ben has been exactly stellar in postseason. Especially in his last postseason game against Jacksonville. I think it's obvious that Big Ben has gotten a lot more help from his supporting cast, particularly in the postseason, than Romo has.

in 05 big Ben was the biggest reason they got to the bowl. he was great in the 3 playoff games and yes i know he stunk it up in the bowl. but he's 4-1 in the postseason including the superbowl. he also didn't have the weapons Romo has.

In his defense his line sucks

No, they don't. You don't watch many Squealer games do ya? Big Bendover gets sacked most of the time because he's holding the ball too long or scrambling around.

I'm as big a Romo fan as there is, but Ben has won a superbowl. case closed.

He didn't win it, he played piss poor in that Superbowl. Then to top it off, the refs did everything they could to hand the trophy to Pitt.

And by that logic, Brad Johnson has also won a Superbowl, so why isn't he starting over Romo?

Because Roethlisburger has won the big game, and quite a few Playoff games - I will go with him.

Outside of that, Romo all the way. Romo can do way more for you in the pocket.

Until he wins a playoff game, Roethlisberger. (yes, I know this is a dangling modifier. Sue me.) ;)
