Ok-Romo or Roethlisberger?

in 05 big Ben was the biggest reason they got to the bowl. he was great in the 3 playoff games and yes i know he stunk it up in the bowl. but he's 4-1 in the postseason including the superbowl. he also didn't have the weapons Romo has.

I love Romo and think he will get his chance at having a SB ring but I think Dallas has to give him a consistent running game so that we are not having to deal with 2nd/3rd and long and expect Tony to make those plays every time. Roethlisberger in his championship run had a very good running attack to help keep defenses off balance

Every time I watch Ben I am amazed he doesn't get sacked more often.. he rolls and stands looking for an open receiver and holds the ball for a long time.. a lot of times his size and strength allow him to get away from the first arm on him, but 50% of the time I think he is going to get sacked.. It never really looks like he is hitting his progressions either, but that he is hitting the open guy once he buys time with the rollout.. in playground mode. Not that Romo doesn't do that too. Ben does have an arm though.. it's just his lack of quickness that I think may catch up to him.

i tell you what,im also from pissburgh and my dad is the biggest stealer freak around but even he cant stand BEN and he couldnt believe they gave him the kind of money they did and would take ROMO anyday:star:

Hard to believe it's even a question.

Ben does not make the greatest of decisions with the ball. People get too caught up with his size and his early success.

I'll take Romo until he proves he just can't get it done in the postseason. Even then I wouldn't take Roethlisberger. I'd sooner draft a replacement.

Ben is not that great of qb compared to romo. This is because Romo had 4,211 yards and ben had 3,154 yards. Romo had 36 touchdowns Ben had 32. Romo had 215 first downs and Ben had 168. Romo is the best.:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin

I go through the same stuff I am from the Burgh Also..... IMO Ben was ok his first year or so. Comparing those two just isn't fair. LOL Ben is bum cheeks.

This is one that will always be divided along party lines with very few exceptions.

Maybe of few Steeler fans would cross the line if Tony QBs a team that wins a playoff game and maybe eventually a Super Bowl. I'm with Romo, becasue, well, he IS better. But they have ammo too.

I consider Big Ben to be more like what David Garrard is developing into---a very good QB who is more of a game manager.

Where do you live in Pgh? I live in Lawrenceville. I didn't know there were other Cowboy fans here in Pgh. How did you become a cowboy fan? Me, I followed my favorite college player Tony Dorsett to Dallas.
