I cannot be one of the more optimistic posters here, it's just not right.

We are going to be fine, Romo didn't play today and the team basically quit. Does this make our players look pathetic? yes. Does this make our coach look pathetic? Yes. but Romo will be back and we'll get healthier and we'll be in the playoffs and then anything's possible. We are a good team that just sucks right now, this will pass.

At this rate, by the time anyone gets healthy we'll already be out of the playoff race. You do realize we're 4-3 with Tampa and the Giants looming ahead? Can you say 4-5 and done for the year?

I feel like we're all living in an alternate universe, one where the Cowboys aren't a big bunch of quivering vaggies.

I heard that in the locker room the calendar says December. They need to fix that ASAP.

Tampa ain't all that.

The problem is the defense, they just allow the opposing offenses to drive and drive on them. They usually can't stop them. Unless Romo comes back and plays D, then we are going to have to keep outscoring the other team. With the addition of Roy Williams, it could be easier for Romo.

I am positive we will be 4-5 when the bye week rolls around

And we have a pretty good Skins team at FedEx coming up after the bye.

However-we have lowly SF and Seattle afterwards...so 6-6 going into Dec is highly likely.

i love how "now" is not the time to panic. When are you optimist going to realize that the time to get this thing corrected is now. There are only 6 spots available for the playoffs. Four division winners are automatically in. It doesn't look like we'll win the division. Then there's the 2 wildcard spots. Looking at the standings, there are a lot of 4-2 and 4-3 three teams in the NFC. Those teams have something we don't, good health. Our margin for error is miniscule right now and our guys don't have the stomach to step up to the challenge. That my friends is why most are so pessimistic right now.

I hope you don't see that as a good thing.

I dont think that's good enough to get in the playoffs this year (10 and 6)...plus we all know how this team usually plays in December <sigh>

By the way, as lowly as the Rams were supposed to be, I'm just glad we don't play Detroit and Kansas City next.

This team will be toast by the time the bye week roles around and dead

Wade has lost the team and it is not coming back no matter how much we hope Romo will save the season

The ST and Defense are not good enough to hold down the fort and Romo and the offense can not cover for 2/3 of the team that does not show up to play on sunday

I'll be more surprised if we lose to Tampa than I was today.

Who knows? Tampa could have this "eat the cheese" mentality next week, and we could very well catch them flat-footed.
