I bet he is out there. But I am learning that these players hate the long preseason and all the training camp. And I dont blame the proven guys for thinking there is too much preseason.Portis made sense.lol.:)

I hope he doesn't come back until that hammy is healed totatlly. We need him healthy for the season, not the preseason.

I'll vote indifference.

What I think doesn't matter. What Parcells thinks does. What TO does wont suprise me.

I think I'd definitely rest easier if he got back to practicing. It's tough to tell what Parcells is thinking. On one hand, you know he doesn't like people missing practice. OTOH, Steve Smith has missed more practice time than Owens has with the same injury and I'm pretty sure that John Fox is cut from the same cloth as Parcells is. Plus, when was the last time the media has been right about Parcells?

Still, I've vowed to myself that I'll treat Owens like I treated Keyshawn. I won't cheer for him until he proves me wrong without a shadow of a doubt that he's a team player and a positive for this team. I didn't think Keyshawn would do it, but he proved me wrong. So until Owens does it, I'm pretty non-plussed about the situation....even if he gets cut (which I highly doubt will happen).

You're 100% right here. No one questions Smith's injury but everyone is all over TO about it. Coaches hate missed time plain and simple but it's the player who ultimately must make the call. I also will feel better when he's back practicing if only so the constant buzzing will stop.

I would love for TO to get back out there so he can learn the offense and get some reps in with Bledsoe. But at the same time I agree with Mansta, we need him during the season more.

I would hope he will be back on the field before the end of the week.

i was ok with him missing last week, now it's just getting annoying. I want him to heel up, I just don't want it to take the whole damn training camp. He needs to get out there, even at half speed. I think i'm just sick of hearing these guys on the radio talking Terrell everyday.

My opinion on the TO situation is that He felt a twinge in his Hammy and became concerned about popping it. He probable wants desperately to prove to the world that he is the best wr and that he is not the headache the media and fans make him out to be (i.e. its everbody elses fault what happened in philly/san fran) resulting in him being overly cautious. I don't expect him back (including Monday night) until the Boys return to Valley Ranch and will start preparing himself for the regular season. He knows, that he will probably be limited to a few plays in preseason game 3 and most likely will not play in the final game. This giving him the best chance to enter the season completely healthy and ready to show the world how great he is.

I really believe that he wants sooo desperately to prove all of the doubters wrong this year that he is not taking any chances of going into the season with a nagging injury. As well as getting injured in a meaningless preseason game (which would derail the 2006 TO show) Even if it means giving the early impression that TO is being TO again.

As for BP, I think he is frustrated not having TO on the field for 2 reasons: 1) he wants to see how TO fits in on this team (esp. coming from different systems) and to get some continuity and 2) he knows that TO missing time subjects him to the media needling him on how he handles TO vs. everyone else. I also think BP would handle any of his star players the same way. He would be frustrated call him out on occassion to push him along, but allow the player to determine when he is ready to come back, i.e. A. Henry last year.
