Ah, possibly.
But I'm not afraid to admit our run game is a bit overrated.
The whole line is pretty banged up. The RG is playing with basically no ligaments in one of his knees, and has been since his freshman year. The center just came back from battling a case of mono in which he lost 30 pds. during the season. The RT and LT are converted guards, one of whom has a bad back. It's been that way for the last couple of weeks, and we've just beaten up on some bad teams.
Also, BC had a thing for running the ball late in games. He adopts that NFL mentality of sitting on the lead late in games and not running the score up. Could've easily blown out teams like K-State and Iowa State, but instead we sat on the lead and just ran the ball mainly and put up some gaudy stats.
As you saw in the 1st half, Texas d-line was manhandling us. Taylor was running for his life and our IB's were getting smashed every play. After the half, it was a different story, for whatever reason?
Could've been something to do with that DT getting hurt from Texas (Moxey or Doxey, I forget). He was having a great game before he got hurt.
