Up to 4 dead, including a 2 year old. 10:30 am and possibly dui? Unreal.
DUIs at 10:30 AM are way more common than you'd think. We get calls (I'm a 911 dispatcher) at all times of the day with people drunk driving.
Of course, the vast majority don't end in a tragedy like this one, but it's insane how common it is at times when you'd never expect it.
Read an article where her attorney is saying it is due to mental illness, not booze.
Of course her attorney says that. He's laying the groundwork for a "mentally incapable of standing trial," situation, or a reduced charge. A blood test will answer those questions really quickly.

Bottom line is it proves that the method of death (guns, cars, swords) is not the issue. The issue is mental illness/addiction and how we deal with it as a society.
