If OU were to beat UT, now, and they both end with one loss, then UT should play for the National Championship...

I'm a Utah alum, but I was cheering for the Y tonight. I'd like to have both undefeated when we meet though BYU is a stronger team than us this year.

If you want to use last year as an analogy by mentioning the hypothetical of OU beating TX, you would have to add in TX beating BYU.

The MWC ain't no joke TCU and Utah are pretty good teams as well. Honestly on paper that conference looks better then a few BCS conferences (ACC, Big east and Big ten)

I tell ya this... I sure as heck take the MWC a lot more seriously than I do the "no ranked teams" Big East. Can someone explain to me why the Big East gets an automatic BCS bid every year but any MWC or WAC team that wants to go to the BCS has to go undefeated?

Seriously... the Big East game getting the most attention this week is Cincy-Rutgers. I actually heard an announcer trying to talk it up by saying that the winner of that game should expect to break into the Top 25.

And my point is that when you have 3 teams all with the same record, where Team A beat Team B, Team B beat Team C and Team C beat Team A, then it is impossible to go with head to head.

I am floored over this win for BYU. I was at a friend's watching the game. We went nuts when that FG was short and left. I had said BYU didn't have a prayer. I ate some crow.

The whole bowl system is a joke and we all know it. The only reason it won't change is because of the money involved.

There should be no automatic bids; put the eight best teams in, simple as that.

Irrelevant. You just want head to head to apply in the case where it benefits you and throw it out in the case it doesn't.

Fact is when 3 teams all have the same record, and they are all 1-1 against each other, H2H gets thrown out the window.

Question for you guys. How many of you actually went to school at OU? They seem to have a lot of bandwagon fans. The ship was pretty empty when my LSU Tigers mopped up the floor with the Sooners in the big game in 2003.
