Any Chaz believers out there? Didnt think so.

I did a little research on him and it sounds like he really was not that great at RT and awful at LT when they tried him there in 2014. I would really like a FA to compete with Green and give us insurance in case he goes down again, but I would favor Pasztor or even Clady on a one-year deal over Bell.

Any chance his middle name is taco? Because he sure looks like he's been there...Alot:omg:

I've come to one conclusion....about our free agent signings. If anyone wants them. We can't sign them.

Nope..Our guys have to be bottom of the barrel. No exceptions. Have to have been waived...and unclaimed multiple times. And even then...they still have to play for minium league wages.

You just can't make this stuff up anymore. We just have to set the bar so low...not even Cleveland can touch our ineptness.

He looks like he's been where? Taco?

You're not making sense, Floaty.

I kind of like this. Very intriguing depth addition who could end up playing more than our starter. Has a lot of starting experience for a 28 year old still unsigned.

I do too. We have no depth at the position right now with any skins on the wall. Same with safety. I don't mind if Heath ends up being the starter or a rookie does, I'd just like to have someone with some starting experience there. (Yes, I know Heath has starting experience, but it wasn't exactly good starting experience.)

Interesting, could be a good candidate to compete with the others at RT -

The Dallas Cowboys' slow, deliberate and thrifty approach to free agency took another measured step on Friday with a visit from free agent offensive tackle Byron Bell.

Bell started 16 games at right tackle for Tennessee Titans in 2015 before missing all last season with a dislocated ankle.

Bell, who grew up just east of Dallas in Greenville, went undrafted out of New Mexico in 2011 before signing with the Carolina Panthers. He started 12 games as a rookie, 15 games in 2012, 14 in 2013 and 15 in 2014 before joining the Titans.

I believe he can compete with Cleary and Bell for the starting job, he played well at LT when he was force to and people seem to forget that. The issue is health and no one can predict that. I also don't see the FO or anyone else saying he is a lock for the starting job, just that he is a candidate.

This doesn't get me overly enthused. Bell has been terrible as a tackle and I don't see where he would be any better option at guard than anyone we already have.

Unfortunately, Bell is probably the best of what is left of the RT market.

When you shop at the bargin bin at Wal-Mart, you cant really expect top of the line merchandise......just saying

hard to believe a solid to good RT is available with other RTs going for 6M-9M AAV.
wonder how bad the ankle is...
a 340lb on a bad ankle is obviously not a good thing.

Agree...first thing he needs to do is LOSE 20lbs+ IMO.

pasztor is probably better.
he played horribly in the beginning but supposedly was one of cleveland's better offense players later on
