math much?NBC ran a DT rating during the Cowboy/49er game and Smith was 33 out if 32.
Actually he might have been kindmath much?
yeah the Mark 1 Eyeball disagrees with a lot of these so called ratingsThese rating mean little to me... I know what I see and it doesn't always match up with these ratings.
Yup, why not sit Steele and play Asim Richard’s? Play Bass instead of Martin? I mean Martin has been so bad, he’s got to be embarrassed at his play this year considering his career.I have a question to ask. Should they replace 1 or 2 of the players that are struggling. How would you go about doing it to make this o-line better? I mean why are they not even trying?
over your head?math much?
Understand football better. Why not, aren't you tired of taking players from college who play one position and moving them around.
If you actually played the game I'd respect your commentUnderstand football better.
I believe the PFF baseline is 60 for D-line. The eye test and PFF line up, that's for certain.Well at Mazi has been over 30 lol
You can move a player around and get away with it if you have good coaching and properly evaluate a player for potential at a new position. Landon Dickerson played center in college but has become one of the best LG's in the NFL from his first year. Jordan Mailata didn't even touch a football until he was 20 and is a top-5 LT. In High school, Lane Johnson was a QB. In JuCo, he was a QB and TE. At Oklahoma, in his junior year, he was a D-lineman (and 3rd QB!!) until O-line injuries had the coaches asking for players to try out at o-line. Johnson made the switch. Coaches saw that his footwork was so good they kept him there. The rest is history. If you actually played the game I'd respect your comment
Neither do I. Had a tough challenge, but he didn't look good at all.I just do not believe that Guyton played better than Tyler Smith after watching the game
I think we all noticed watching the game about Mazi when PFF shows DT it was 119 of 119, boy look at our TALENT. It's literally the first time I can recall having the worst rated player by pff on our team.Guyton: 73.7
Smith: 53.8
Beebe: 77.3
Martin: 54.3
Steele: 49.1
I have given up on Steele at this point, but it sucks seeing the strength of this team (OG) performing terribly when we finally get a very solid performance from our 2 rookies.
Side note: Mazi has graded under 50 7/8 games this season.
They are not wanting to say it but Martin's back is the problem. You can see the way he is playing versus last year and he is so stiff and has nowhere near the power he had. Frankly if Bass was all that they should be playing him as right now Martin is a liability especially with Steele beside him
just in time for the left side to crumble..that seems to be the trend...most team operate with an OL that has strengths and weakness....we seem to be the only team that needs 5 all pro OL to perform at all over the last 28 years....Maybe we should consider that our gameplans dont work...Guyton played better this week. Hopefully that becomes a trend.
Yes Steele and Martin are cooked.
Gotta rebuild the right side of the line.
The dinosaur OL coach is a problem.just in time for the left side to crumble..that seems to be the trend...most team operate with an OL that has strengths and weakness....we seem to be the only team that needs 5 all pro OL to perform at all over the last 28 years....Maybe we should consider that our gameplans dont work...
the JG "Beat the man in front of you" theory never left thats for sure...The dinosaur OL coach is a problem.
So people who played football understand the game better than those who didn't?If you actually played the game I'd respect your comment
