So people who played football understand the game better than those who didn't?

Seriously?
whenever you get this just ask him about Matt Millen. Pro Bowl LB and arguably the worst GM in NFL history
Though Jethro is pushing for that title now

just in time for the left side to crumble..that seems to be the trend...most team operate with an OL that has strengths and weakness....we seem to be the only team that needs 5 all pro OL to perform at all over the last 28 years....Maybe we should consider that our gameplans dont work...

I agree with you to a point.

Thst being said. Martin is retiring and Steele is really really really bad. He has to go.

I'm assuming Tyler Smith's grade is low, due to helping Tyler Guyton at this point in time. At least, I hope that's the cause of it.

I have a question to ask. Should they replace 1 or 2 of the players that are struggling. How would you go about doing it to make this o-line better? I mean why are they not even trying?
You can’t replace them with backups on the roster and expect to improve. In other words we’re stuck.

when a player is horrid try the backup; not likely it can get worse and at least he might be better

We need a rt bad, and we just drafted one 6 months ago, so put guyton at RT. Tyler smith filled in well for Tyron smith a couple years ago and played lt a lot better than guyton, so move smith to lt. Bebee was known for his left guard skills in college, so move him to lg. Leave Martin at rg until we draft one . Let Hoffman play center, supposedly he done well over the summer , until we draft one. Draft a center, rg , wr2, rb1, rb2 in rounds 1,2 in 25,26. May have to get rb2 in round 3, after all DeMarco Murray and tony Pollard were 3,4. Then offense should be good again. Focus on d line in 27,28. Our only problem would be old lamb, old Prescott, no middle linebacker, no cb2 , no cb3. We still got bland and who cares about the safeties

Guyton: 73.7
Smith: 53.8
Beebe: 77.3
Martin: 54.3
Steele: 49.1

I have given up on Steele at this point, but it sucks seeing the strength of this team (OG) performing terribly when we finally get a very solid performance from our 2 rookies.

Side note: Mazi has graded under 50 7/8 games this season.
Guyton and Beebe having big games. Like that.

This season is looking done.
Time to start playing and watching the young guys. That's always fun.

I’ve liked the Guyton Beebe picks from the begining . Asim Richards should be at RT Sunday .

Are Martin's struggles related to how poorly Steele has been? Seems odd for him to have such a huge drop off in his level of play.
The truth is last year biadz always co blocked Martinez guy even when he shouldn't. Now Cooper is doing what centers are supposed to do and that is leaving martin 1 on 1 sometimes and he's getting exposed. That's why the dropoff looks steep.
