Sure will be interesting to see who gets the axe.....After the projected starting five, there are now the two rookies, Proctor, Mcquinsin and Berger. I was sort of figuring Proctor and Mcquinstin would make the team and Berger would have a shot, but not anymore.....

Either way, I'm glad there will be good competition on the OL. Also, I sure am curious to see how backup center shakes out.

THis year we find out how much McQ has progressed. ITs a known fact that the greatest strides most O linemen make are from their rookie year to their second. So this camp we can take a hard look at McQ and decide just how much potential he has.

Berger is now our back up center from what I understand so either McQ or Proctor...

I think its comes down to Proctor vs Berger with whoever can man the backup center spot the best will probably stick.

We will keep Marten and Free for Tackles. If they move Mcquistan to Guard that would be three. I read that Berger could play all positions except for LT so he could be our back up Center/Guard. That would leave proctor as the odd man out.

They're all unknown quantities right now, but if I had to guess I'd say McQ is the first out.

Is this Flozell's last year?

We may have a shot at Jake Long next year w/ Cleveland's pick.

No way McQ goes! Man this guy was special in preseason. Best thing I've seen on our line in a while.

Do they keep 10? We have before. Whoever is released could probably play somewhere else and likely will. Maybe they can move somebody for a needier position.

Peterman had some serious preseason performances too.

I was thinking the same thing. 10 is a very real possibility. Sparano likes McQ and Procter; Berg is necessary as a backup center; Marten makes the team; the other OT seemed to be a great grab.

Bottom line: it's either keep 10 or drop an OT, which to me seems to come down to Northern Illinois rookie v. McQ.

Our OL is good and deep for the first time in many years.

We go 10 deep unless there is a training camp or preseason injury. This may be Flo's last season. I hate carrying 5 OT's but I don't want to risk losing any of them.

LT: Flo, Free
LG: Kosier, McQ
C: Gurode, Berger
RG: Davis
RT: Columbo, Marten

so my odds are that Proctor is out

Odds are, somebody will get hurt and free up a spot.

I loved the OT picks, especially Free.

mcquistan, berger and procter arent going anywhere.

Think in terms of roster spots.

Jim molinaro, marco rivera and tray darilek will now most likely be off the roster for marten and free.

During the press conference today, Jerry Jones mentioned in passing the possibility of McQuistan playing guard. This means Procter's job could be in play too.

I would hate to see Procter go. Then again, it might come down to Procter v. a KO specialist who essentially eliminates the threat of a big KO return.

They will go ten if they are all worth keeping. They have done it before.

I don't any thoughts on Procter - but I do find it encouraging that the Cowboys have upgraded their roster to the point that they may have to cut a player who has a lot of potential.
