Hey Trouty...life is good...drinking Guinness with the Bride!! She likes it half and half with mike!! Its not bad that way! Whats doing in L. A?

Haley! My brudda from anotha mudda, life is great. It's hot today (90) but I've been in either my home, a car, or an office, so I haven't felt it too much.

Been on the board a lot today, getting into fights with some (check out the Mo Claiborne thread LOL), being nice to most (we have the greatest members here).

Happy to hear you're enjoying yourself with your lady, Haley. Salud, my friend.

ETA I'm down about 12 Bohemias, feeling the warmth :)

Huge fan of Dogfish and Lagunitas (incredibly underrated in the IPA frenzy), Zordon.

Is the Double B@stard the same brewer that makes Arrogant B@stard?

Great selections, brudda
Yep same brewery out of the San Diego area - Arrogant Brewing. I love my strong ale's. :yourock:

Trouty what part of L.A. are you from?

From Glendora, but recently bought a home in the Burbank/NoHo area. My family has long ties to the Toluca Lake area (incorporation).

What about you, Zordon?

Lots of great breweries out of SoCal (specifically San Diego).

I'm out here in Dallas. Between DFW, Austin, Houston for work.

I was in L.A. a few months ago to go see the Boys in Oxnard. Stayed in WeHo. Santa Monica, Sunset Strip Nightlife, Observatory at night, Catalina Island snorkeling, Alabama Shakes at The Greek Theater...Good lord man I'm in love with that city. The weather, women, food, lifestyle...I want to move there. You're blessed brother. Life can be dry in Texas.

Live right down the fwy from the Observatory, dude! I hike Griffith Park almost weekly and took my son there a month or so ago to do a sunset homework assignment (science). Catalina is a little secret, Avalon is charming and offers great kayaking and snorkeling. I haven't been there since 04, but I've been there three times total (Cherry Valley twice, Avalon once).

The women here are... something else. Lol but that's a different story for a different day :) especially here in NoHo, so close to the sets.

I've been to Texas once, but it was a layover at DFW, where we got an extra day to stay. I went to a bar called Cowboys with a bar in the middle of the dance floor, if that rings a bell. Women were throwing themselves at us. It was cray cray, but I was married and sentimental and was a good boy. :)

And yes, Zordon, the food, nightlife and Cali scene can't be beat.

Trouty, you need to come over one summer and float the Guadalupe. Beer has never tasted so good as it does on an inner tube, listening to tunes, and hanging with your friends. Then slide on over to Gruene Hall and listen to some live music. Makes for a fun day.

Hmm I've never been to that bar. DFW is so big you can live your whole life here and never see 75% of the towns here.

Man getting to hike Griffith Park with your family sounds amazing. Next time I'm out there, we got to meet up. Hopefully the Boys play the Rams next year so I can come out there again.

Movie Night with Wine!!!

Happy weekend everybody. May your weekend filled with joy and happiness. Heading to Metlife this Sunday to support the wrong team. I will be at the Jets-Ravens game thanks to one of the Jets sponsors. I was given 2 lower level 40 yard line tickets and I am taking a die hard Jets fan friend to the game to see Geno throw interceptions after interceptions. Starting Ravens defense in my fantasy by the way. Too bad I will miss Rams-Giants game as I will be tailgating under the clouds of Green and Purple flags.

Enjoy your weekend everyone. :yourock:
