If I do whiskey (or hard alcohol), I get reckless, to say the least. I used to pound wild turkey out of the bottle, half a pint in a swig. I could down a pint of cheap, charcoal distilled vodka in one drink.

When I got back from overseas, I was a raging boozer. At my peak I was going through two fifths of cheap alcohol a day. Went to rehab. Bad days...

I have a poker night planned with a handful of my staff and former staff next week. We grill fajitas at about 6, play poker at about 8 and pass out at about 4 or 5 in the morning. Do it about three times a year. Lots of fun, for some reason I always win the pot at the end of the night.

That's awesome, man! Those late night drinking escapades with buddies are always lasting memories for me, Coach!

Today was my last day at work. I am off until January 3rd. Best time of the year for me and my family. Giants are in playoff contention. Cowboys are in playoff contention. Knicks are exceeding expectations and look to be playoff bound. Yankees just signed Chapman. Rangers are leading the division. What else can I ask? Santa is right around the corner. It is my birthday on December 29th. It is my wife's birthday on December 31st. We are healtyy, we have 2 kids who are healthy and happy. What else can I ask from God? Nothing Dave nothing. Life is good.

Hey man, I finally tried the Bud Light Platinum. I liked it. I drank as much as I normally do of my Coors Light on an empty stomach. I got legitimately drunk. I can't remember the last time I got drunk off beer. Usually I have to throw in a couple of shots of the hard stuff before I get more than a good buzz. The extra alcohol did make a difference.

I wish my dad (step-dad) was a cool as you. He hated the Cowboys with a passion. He was a Bears fan and a fan of any team playing the Cowboys. Sometimes he would even root against the Bears if it meant a Bears victory would help the Cowboys. When I became a fan of the Cowboys they had been in existence for only a few years and hadn't won a Super Bowl yet. He would gloat after a Cowboys loss like you wouldn't believe. That's the main reason I don't gloat after a Cowboys win. For one, I had nothing to do with their win or loss, and just because my team won does that make me a better person when my team wins and yours loses? I never understood that. To this day I still don't know why he hated the Cowboys so much.

I am hoping for a Cowboy SB...But imagine the club is a year away. I never count the Giants out...they are always dangerous.
