Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you. You guys are the reason our thread exists and stays strong. We are like a sub forum within a sub forum, lol. You guys are all fam here at CZ.

I never dreamed this thread would take off the way it did, and I almost deleted the OP after I made it because I thought people would label me (there have been some, but the mods have graciously dealt with them), and that I put myself out there too much when I was (then) still relatively new to posting on the site.

This is everyone's thread, it has evolved into something much bigger than the OP ever intended. Let's keep it going strong in the New Year, guys and gals.

Man, Shunny, you get around, my brudda lol!! Good for you. I'm at my dad's house, sitting here dreadfully sober because god forbid I drink. Even tho everyone else is drinking.

I've had like four beers and everyone else is drinking liquor. My son flew in earlier and that's all I'm really thinking about. (Sorry dad, lol).

Right back at ya, Trouty! I'm very glad I stumbled in here the other night. If it wasn't for me noticing Haley coming in here, I never would have followed him in, and I still would have just been thinking it's a thread about quitting drinking. lol. Man, was I surprised to see it is the exact opposite! :D

Been cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry all day, plus taking care of pets and helping Lane with his bbq turkey and ham. All the food's done now, though, and we're chilling, watching football and I'm listening to Christmas music on my headphones. But, Whew! I'm tired, yall. Am gonna really enjoy this beer when it actually gets cold enough to drink. Had 3 hot ones now, so I'm hoping the 4th one is the cold charm.:p

Trouty. I feel you. Enjoy your time with your dad though. Lost mine 3 years ago and lost mom 5 years ago. Family is everything. Enjoy your time with dad and son.

Sorry for your losses, Shunny, albeit a bit belated. I lost my mom when I was 17. I adore my dad, but I haven't seen my son in ten days :(

Family is, indeed, everything, my brother.

Hey kim. Merry Christmas to you too. No family. I promised my son who is a Cowboys fan that I would take him to a Cowboys fame this year. Landed in Houston. Will head to Dallas Monday night to watch Lions game. Then it will be San Antonio and then we will head home.
