The BBC. Now, you talking. The birthplace of sitcoms. No commercials. Every Brit who owns TV must pay a fee, it used to be about 200 sterling a year, and it was for commercial free Television.

Wow, that's WAYYY better than we have in the US, only $245 a year?? We have about $150 per Month with DishNetwork (incl. $20 HBO) and it is NOT commercial free. I've heard DirectTV is even more. BushLeague! :mad:

Me and my mom used to love to watch Benny Hill late at night back in the 80s. Don't know what channel it was on, though. But it was funny and slightly raunchy. giggle/snicker. lol. Can still hear the funny music they would play when things would be sped up for comical effect. And the girls Benny loved. Too young for him, but whatever. It was funny. :muttley:

Benny Hill was funny. Hadn't thought of him in years.
