@Ranching spot on (it is Lyle Lovett) @kimrose Metallica is one of the bands that got me through Iraq, thank you :)

Oh wow, Trouty. Thank you for that, sir. I am honored and humbled. Had no idea. I love Metallica. I'm glad you love them, too. I'm glad you got through Iraq, period. Bless you, sir. I have a military family. I've posted all over about them. Won't rehash. But I have mad props respect for you, brother. Thank you. I am so glad you are here with us tonight. You have made this place better. Wish I had realized sooner about Trouty's Tavern. I would have been a regular. But I am now, hope yall don't mind. lol. You know how hard it is to get rid of an annoying female. Easier to get rid of a bad case of fleas. LOL!

But seriously, my heart goes out to you for the things that you went through, and the things that you saw, and the things that keep you up at night.......... You have not been forgotten here, nor have your efforts and tribulations fallen on deaf ears. We love our military fathers and brothers and sons and grandsons, and daughters, as well. You all mean the world to us. Thank you, Mr. Trouty. For your time, for your honor, for your life that you spent.....so that our life can be easier and continued. You are the shiznit. Sir. I mean it! Sir!

So, was your stat low, or you just liked the saying. Because you come across as being very charismatic.

Well, to even get your stat that low from the start you had to be a Half-Ogre. (ie, a big stupid ugly beast that starts with a 20 charisma out of 0-100 range)

In real life, the only people I know who think I'm unfriendly are those who do not know me. That is mainly because I'm small talk adverse. I generally won't talk to you unless A) I know you, or B) you are discussing something I have an interest in. People also say I do not smile at people I do not know. ...unfriendly and aloof. :D

Once you get to know me. I'm pretty much always joking about something. I can be quite sarcastic, but never in a mean way....unless you're an ***hole and you were one to me or a friend of mine. Then I'm apt to be openly hostile towards you.

Kim, no need to thank me. I signed up for it and all that it entailed.

You are a kindred soul and we are most certainly better for having you here with us. :)

I'm pretty much the same, in my line of work, I reassign or fire employees every year. I've had staffs of close to 100 coaches with all, sports combined. One year I reassigned 26 of them. I cannot allow myself to be me at work. Very refreshing to be around family and good friends that allow me to be myself.

hah. I'm a director of IT for a mid-sized company right now. I'm 100% myself at work. Thankfully it's not SUPER corporate. Most of my guys are young 20something kids within a few years of entering the IT workforce. I get to mentor them and teach them that they can have fun while they work hard. Good habits while keeping productivity high. I just hope they never have to work for crapholes like IBM where they will end up ruined by corporate crap and no-fun work place and likely to get screwed in the end by a greedy ****hole company.

I've got a long history in the military with my family. I almost enlisted in 86, tore up my ankle and required a full reconstruction. Kept me out. One of my uncles retired a Major in the Marines, he lived in Carlsbad CA. I also have other uncles that served in Korea and Vietnam, one of them lives in Pico Rivera CA, another won a Purple Heart.
