I've been in Dallas since '91.
I'm from NC originally though.
Yeah, Cape Hatteras can be very rough. For ships, they call it the grave yard of the Atlantic...more ship wrecks than anywhere in the world...except WW2 Japan.
Cod is further north.
Hatteras get Red Drum (sea bass), Blue Marlin, Sail Fish, Sea Trout (lol), flounder, etc. It's fairly warm water.

Anyway, a lot of people living in Central America know about for some reason.

I think that's close by...just to the south. Was it "Cape Fear"?
They have a bunch of chick-flick type movies from Hatteras....Redford was in one, Costner, etc.
