Hard not to know of her. She is very talented and I knew of her from Austin City Limits prior to hearing her on Stern. As is the case with most artists that spout their political feelings, I think she has been hurt by that.

She certainly killed their momentum with those comments in London in March, 2003. I won't go further, since we aren't to discuss politics here. I will say, I understand why people took issue, just don't understand why she got blackballed by her own industry.

Bill, I appreciate the kind words, in spite of her political ramblings. I really adore this woman. She is so damn authentic and beautiful. And has the voice of an angel.
