But I CHALLENGE, anyone who has the NFL Channels production of Superbowl 5 and the interviews, to replay it, again and again in slo mo.

seen what a dozen times. the broadcast replays or the nfl Films version in "slo-mo"? The NFL Films from the other side catches it.

Exactly. Thomas did not fumble that ball. A Colt defender took it after the whistle blew, and the Refs gave it to them.
They still had their chances to win it though.

The one thing that will always stick out from that game? Lilly throwing his helmet after the game.

His finger got caught-up in his facemask when he was tossing his helmet and broke his finger, so he has said.

i think i saw it before. is it the nfl films video where it shows the ball change trajectory in slow motion after grazing renfro's fingers? it has a close-up of the ball.
