Thanks so much. Being in Arizona it is difficult to find Cowboys stuff. I feel lost out here. Good to see 'Boys videos.

In case anyone missed them, or we have new members to the forum, here are the links for some highlight videos:

Bombshell - offensive highlights, 2003. Windows media 9 encoded.

Slam - defensive highlights, 2003. Windows media 9 encoded.

Boom - Roy Williams highlights, 2002. Divx encoded.

Cowboys from Hell - the original Roy Williams video in divx. Mainly the same clips as Boom, but I made this one first. I remade it as Boom because it seems that a lot of Cowboys fans can't handle the hard stuff. No point in making a music video if people are muting the music to watch it. ;)

Rookies - Rookies highlights from 2002 (AB, Ross, Hunter, Dantzler). Unfortunately half the guys in the video aren't on the team anymore. Divx encoded.

Nostalgia - RBs from Cowboys history: Dorsett, Walker, Smith. My personal favorite video, especially in light of the drafting of Julius Jones.

Pictures of you too - QBs from our history, to the same song as Nostalgia. I was too lazy to find another and some people had asked me to slap this together, so I did.

Hotstepper - the Julius Jones video.

Anyone having trouble playing Boom, CFH, Rookies, Nostalgia, POY or Hotstepper probably needs the divx codec, it can be downloaded here. You'll need a high speed connection because the smallest of the videos is around 28 megs.

There are other things on the server as well, I'm just to lazy to link them all. Most of them are shorter clips, many without sound, just so guys who didn't get to see games could see some of our players in action.

THANK you sir!

Why do all your players peak in their rookie season? It seems like everyone you drafted since 2002 just keeps on getting worse. Everyone except Witten...

Why do the Eagles always lose important games? Why can't they win a Super Bowl?

Who said they can't? They lose important games because they play better teams. Same reason why the Cowboys won one playoff game in nine years.

Oh? Is that a fact? Two things ...if you're talking about "the Eagles haven't won anything (wouldn't that include the 2004 NFC Championship?)...your wrong! But if you're talking about NFL Championships ...then you're stIll wrong!

The Eagles captured three NFL titles from 1948 to 1960, earning consecutive crowns in 1948 and 1949 under head coach Earle “Greasy” Neale. His potent offensive squad starred future Hall of Fame members end Pete Pihos, halfback Steve Van Buren, and center Chuck Bednarik, who also played linebacker for the defensive unit.

I'm Not trying to bring down the thunder, but we're establishing a pretty good win record over your team right now -- costly, but winning something:rolleyes:

Although I see everyone ragging on the guy for this question.

It is actually a pretty good question....we do have some players that have done ok as Rooks only to go on to get booted off the team or not leave up to expectations the following years.

I think some of them (Bryant, Ross and Larrimore) were due to the team being in total chaos when those guys were rookies....the players, IMO, many times were simply free lancing plays and that natural athletic skill would show through.

Problem became, once again IMO, is that they had some sucess doing things their way instead of how it should be done and did not think they needed to change. So instead of following the rules and coaching they played rebels without a clue and found themselves no longer playing for the boys.

Cowboy fans frequently ask why Eagle fans are on this MB. While I cannot speak for all Of us, I'll say that it's level heads and unbiased posts like this one from a Cowboys fan, that makes it worthwhile be here. All Cowboy fans aren't alike.

I will say it again. Those Championships are not as good as a Super Bowl. If they were the NFL would have the Eagles as 3 time SB champs instead of 0 time SB champs. A Super Bowl is better.

And again the last time your team ever won anything and even then it not bein nearly as good as a Super Bowl was 1960. Uhhh that was before my dad was even born.

Championships are below a Super Bowl.

A better question...

Why did you feel the need to turn this into a troll thread? There are plenty of others you can do that in...

Was it the sticky that attracted you perhaps? (yes... it is rhetorical)

Sorry I thought it was a valid question. That link to your 2002 rookies...none of whom ever reached the status they were in 2002. And thinking about it neither did Williams...or Newman from his rookie season to last year.

After that infamous rookie class we changed coaches. I think that made a tremendous difference because the old regime didn't have any authority and therefore required no discipline of the players. So guys like Bryant and Ross were fine under the old coaches, but didn't fare well in Bill's regime. I don't know about Roy Williams, maybe he's thinking too much or maybe it's something else, I guess we'll see how he does this year. As for Newman, we don't know yet - he was only in his second season last year, and the 'sophmore slump' is typical enough to have a name. Also, they changed the rule enforcement for DBs last year and it affected every CB adversely. So basically your case is built on Bryant, Ross and Roy. Bryant may well eclipse his rookie season this year, I fully expect him to do so. Ross just doesn't get it, and likely won't be in the league in spite of his amazing physical ability. And Roy might just need to relax more and let the plays come to him - I think he's feeling pressure in Bill's defense to be 'the guy' and I think it's hampered his play a lot. As a rookie he was more relaxed and just let plays come to him IMO.
