The run game with Dowdle vs Elliott is night and day . Heck I would give Leupke Elliott’s rushes . And Rush had time in the pocket the announcers commented
Have you seen a single hole for Elliott?

I see guys in his face as he gets the hand off most of the time.

I mean the line Dowdle runs through is the same line Elliott labors on to . Same OL . Difference is Dowdle has a burst and runs hard through the holes . 2 road games this year when Dowdle gets 18 Carrie’s the Pokes win and he’s between 85-88 yards

That doesn't answer the question.

I've seen holes for Dowdle (sometimes). I can't say the same for Elliott (much smaller sample).

Oline looked decent. Its time to move Guyton to RT and see what they have in Richards at LT. Season is lost so its time to experiment and get ready for next year. Move Bebee back to G and his natural position. Some of his snaps are no bueno.
Agreed.

While Tyler Smith is recovering from injury...

Move Guyton to Right Tackle and alternate him and Terence Steele until you determine which is the better of the two. Asim Richards start at Left Tackle. Move Cooper Beebe to Left Guard. Brock Hoffman start at Center. Start T.J. Bass at Right Guard.

You're set. Give them experience the rest of this season at those positions. This Oline will be ready for next season.

Today was the only time I’ve ever noticed the bad snaps consistently. He will be fine at center. Martin was hurting us and today proved it. They should get Steel out of there next.

I hope next year line is Richards, Bebee, Hoffman, Bass, Guyton.
Don't agree. Smith has to be in there. IMO, it should be Richards, Smith, Beebe, Bass, Guyton with Hoffman as the top interior reserve. We need to find a swing tackle, though, if we go that way, which I would assume means we either cut or traded Steele.

Hoffman looked good in there at LG. I think it shows that Martin has really struggled healthwise and just needs to heal up. Hate to see him so worn down.

Could this be a better lineup: Tyler Smith - TJ Bass - Cooper Beebe - Brock Hoffman - Tyler Guyton

Right. I think we need to let him at least play out the year at the spot to figure out if that is the best spot for him or if he needs to go to guard.

There seem to be some palatable options with the youth.

Richards-Smith-Beebe-Bass-Guyton.

Smith-Bass-Hoffman-Beebe-Guyton.

Richards-Smith-Hoffman-Beebe/Bass-Guyton.

Etc.

Yes, I believe we should be playing the younger guys, but please don't make any decisions based on Washington or New York.

Cowboys did not want to overwhelm 1st round pick Tyron Smith as a rookie so played him at ROT, with Doug Free, a former 4th rounder played at LOT. The next year, they switched positions.

I believe the Cowboys rushed Guyton this year. If Asim Richards grades out well, I would not hesitate putting Guyton at ROT next year. I would not just cut T Steele. I would try him at RG first. If you older folks remember young Kevin Gogan was not good at RT, but when moved to guard, he was very good, eventually left as a free agent and made Pro Bowl several times.
