I'm not going to pounce on the Commanders for the remainder of the season, but it awes me how in all the games that Campbell has lost, every announcer has always proclaimed how great Campbell is going to be?

Uhh, what?

I've been shaking my head over that all season long... I don't think there's been any point in the season where Campbell's quarterback rating put him in the league's top 20 QBs, and the announcers are all fawning over him??

That said, for all the ragging I've done of Campbell, and what happens to the Skins when he throws the ball more than 30 times, this is EXACTLY what the Skins needed to be doing if they really think that he's their quarterback of the future... they have to let him go out there and play, make his mistakes, and learn from those mistakes... that is part of the learning curve for virtually every NFL starting QB early in his career...

The only question is, will Campbell learn from these mistakes, or will he always be prone to coughing the ball up because he doesn't sense the pass rush well?? The answer to that question will determine how good or bad he ultimately becomes...

I doubt they were really too concerned about football this week. It's kinda tough to focus on game film when one of your best players just got murdered.

I doubt Thursday's game will go much better for them either after spending Monday at a funeral for him in Florida. I bash the Commanders just as much or even more than anyone on this forum, but considering the circumstances, I think they earned a pass this game.

Oh, bullbleep... any NFL QB who throws the ball 54 freakin' times ought to go for well over 300 yards... then there's the matter of Jason's 2 turnovers in that game being critical to their loss, I don't recall Montana choking away too many games that way...

I understand your post BUT for the HOF HC not knowing the rules on calling back to back TO's is simply unacceptable and their fans are expressing that right now on WTEM sports talk radio... No excuse for that!!!

Sorry, didn't realize you brought this up before. I just look it up on Campbell's profile this morning and thought it was an interesting stat and mentioned in skins vs bills thread. We'll have to trademark that stat to SB's stat.

Maybe some of what you said is true? However, a HOF coach that calls two time outs at the end? No! That is just plain ignorance...!

The Commanders actually had this game, aside from coaching and the QB fumbles and interceptions, and this has been going on way before the loss of Sean.
