Is this for real? Link?

yes it is in the book "War without Death" The book is about the end of the 05 season, the offseason and the 06 season of all the teams in the nfc east. Mark maske the writer from the washington post wrote the book. It is kind of boring but some parts like the part of snyder finding out from rosenhaus that owens was coming to Dallas were fun to read.

You really find out the quality of people that the giants owners are, the tisch's and mara's and then the quality of the eagles front office and our front office. And then you see how much of a rick with a p Danny snyder is.

If you can find it for cheap it is worth passing a day, its a short book.

"Maybe Snyder has a master plan, but at the moment it looks like nonsense, something a little boy would draw in crayon while he waits for the ice cream truck."

Thats a pretty frick'n brutal call out. $20 says little Danny sues em over this for something.

Thanks...should be interesting. I finished The GM over the holidays, it was interesting but had a fair bit of revisionism going on in it.

Snyder wants to interview McDaniels and Spagnuolo after the SuperBowl. Good read on the article, made my morning more enjoyable.

I wouldnt say Dan Snyder is a terrible owner the franchise that he owns is the worth the most in professional sports, he just makes poor personnel decisions and his fans are spoonfed his BS and applaud his moves, when he sets them up year after year for dissappointment

Unless you haven't been reading this board the past coupla weeks, that "character issues" garbage has been thoroughly debunked on a number of occasions...

Anybody who continues to insist that kid is a character concern is either utterly uninformed, or dishonest enough that he forfeits the right to question ANYBODY else's character...

I like McFadden, but my heart's not set on him... but I am past fed up with people who continue to trash the kid for the 2 innocuous run-ins he had with the law (neither one resulting in an arrest), and a completely bogus rumor run by a local TV station, which subsequently publicly apologized to D-Mac...

It really is quite nauseating, the way some of you will trash these kids because you don't like him, and the truth is optional when you do... yeah, I know I've gone off on some character issues on some players in the past, but when I have, I have been completely capable of documenting their character problems in some detail (the likes of your Maurice Claretts and Michael Vicks and PacMan Joneses of the world are the ones I get critical of, and only after they give us a LONG list of reasons to do so)...

I think you're a fine poster, Phil, I don't recall ever having had a problem with anything you've said, so I'm gonna assume that you were innocently misinformed when you said this... but for the love of God, before you say it again, do yourself a favor, and go inform yourself of the TRUTH...

I have a notion that once you do, you're gonna be kind of embarrassed that you said what you did about Darren's character...

I can't believe you left off Randy Moss, Lawrence Phillips, and Sean Taylor.......all of whom had a decent laundry list prior to the draft. And then there is Reggie Bush, who knowingly broke NCAA violations......come on Reggie, do the right thing, give Vince the Heismann that you stole.....

Then there are those boneheads who do one or two things just before the draft....like Najeh DooDooport.....

I don't see DMac as a problem.....He is a star athlete....and honestly, all star athletes will get into a little bit of trouble from time to time, even if it is minor trouble. But they are just kids learning and growing. They are trying to rationalize and understand their environment. Think about it. From the time they are small, they are treated like Gods, because of their athletic ability. They are given everything, as long as they are successful on the field of play. They are conditioned to expect entitlement......we as a society do this to them......as long as they are superstars on the field...and a few indiscretions along the way, no worries......we can clean that up for them so they are free to play on gameday.....

So DMac may have done a few minor things here and there.....he was a kid, growing and learning.....he is human and made some mistakes. Big freakin deal. It isn't like he went Lawrence Phillips or Rae Carruth on anyone.....

BTW, I don't like DMac and I don't want him in Dallas.....I would be irate if we sold the farm to draft him.....and this has nothing to do with character....

I give Davis a pass only because he was at one time a great owner and great football man. It's sad to see a man with such a passion for football loose his mind in front of the world.

Snyder has no excuse.

wasnt snyder a lifelong football fan and a longtime season ticket holder for the Skins before he bought them....didnt he learn anything all those years......

Well at least he has kept up with George Allen about not using draft picks, but instead veteran players and FAs to fill the roster.

Hopefully JJ doesn't fall back on old bad habits. I don't see it but one time I didn't see a lot of difference despite JJ's early success.

Can you zoom in on that sheet Snyder is holding? I think is says "Yahoo Fantasy Football" which confirms Snyders approach to FA.

How so? The Commanders pull in $300 million in revenue every year, and it's the most highly valued franchise in North American sports at $1.4 billion. Seems like Snyder's making a mint, and that's what an owner is in the business for. If they had shareholders and I was one, I'd be lauding Snyder to the stars.

That is only because he owns Commander Park or whatever it's called. Once JJ opens the doors on Jerry Land, he will pass Danny boy like a Maserati passing a one legged kid on a one wheel skate board.

I think the issue is that Snyder freaks out each year after an early playoff exit or even a non-playoff season for that pathetic, miserable team he owns, and then he just gets irrational and tries to change lots of things by bringing in people who were successful in different systems without even thinking about how they might gel with his own team.

He needs to calm the hell down and stop rapidly changing things without thinking. Jerry had this same issue before Parcells got here but hopefully he learned SOMETHING from Parcells, whose football mind turned our organization around completely.

That is all the reason Jerry needs to make a push for Darren McFadden. Knowing that we are so close, that he feels we need maybe just one or two more players. And McFadden would be his dream pick.

So it's not that far fetched to think that Jerry just might make a deal to grab his Arkansas RB.

it will NEVER happen with the #1 pick. the only way i can see it happening is if he's there at 4 and we deal with oakland. both our firsts and some late rounder should do it.

even then i don't want to. gimme felix jones and another quality CB over mcfadden.

I don't know if that says something good about Snyder or something completely awful about Skins fans. I sure wouldn't toss my dollars to Jerry for merchandise if he ran things like Snyder.

Honestly though, I do support skins fans who will do that. The longer they give snyder their money, the longer he will think that he is doing a good job.
