On that day your Dallas Cowboys lost to the lowly Rams 27-23. The Rams ended up going 6-10 while Dallas went on to win the Super Bowl. That Cowboys team is debated to this day about being one of the greatest of all time and they lost to a pretty bad team. Now I'm not saying this current team is Super Bowl bound or anything but I will say that even good teams have bad weeks. It's taken me a while to get over the loss but we all just have to remember that there's only been one perfect season and good teams lose to bad ones all the time in this league.

This is the thing. What was Dallas's record at the end of that regular season?

Some are waiting to see if this current set of cowboys has the internal fortitude to pick up and keep playing good football.

Or are they gonna slide and cave like the Cowboys over the lat several years.

They need to beat the Cards, standings aside, for their own conviction. Mud stomp the culture that was firmly entrenched in this org.

I just want a valid playoff appearance this year. Some sign of improvement.

No backing in by beating the skins or giants on the last game only to get creamed in the first round.

We beat Arizona next week all this goes a way. Just a small little bump in the road.

Dallas Cowboys have played without at least half their defense on the field all year it seems.

Nope.

They are what they are. With improvement at LB position(s).

It just wasn't our day Monday night. Washington played like it was the Super Bowl. Did you see them all running and jumping around at the end of the game? If you didn't know any better you would've thought they just won the NFC Championship game.

Reed makes a miraculous catch on one drive late in the game. How many 1st downs did they just barely get by like one yard?

We should have ran more. They could not stop our running game. That's our coaches fault. Our best tacklers on the team (Church, McClain and Wilcox) missed several tackles that would have stopped many drives. Instead they went for long gains and Washington converted them into points.

I'm not ready to jump off the ledge just yet and none of you should he either. I remember that Rams game. We also got stomped by Philadelphia on Monday night earlier that yr and lost a very frustrating game at Washington later on

And if we lose esp badly then our job will become difficult again and much worse, the Cowboys will have taken a step backwards in the eyes of many. I just hope all understand even a loss leaves us at 6-3 with a good chance of having a good or better season. We just need health and the will to win.
